pontiac bonneville on fire

murray kentucky, march 6th, 2009. a pontiac bonneville traveling northbound on us 641 (12th street) was waiting to turn westbound on chestnut street. the video shows the results of the action.

My Stratus had a recall on the power steering hose, which was replaced at the dealer years ago. There were no leaks as far as I know. I think the hose or something ruptured and sprayed power steering fluid on the hot exhaust. I know just about any car fluid could catch fire but if you have a known power steering fluid leak please get it fixed ASAP! A POWER STEERING FLUID LEAK IS NOTHING TO PLAY WITH!!! #IJS

i have a 98 bonneville. pontiacs seem like they always catch fire

Not good. My 1999 Dodge Stratus caught fire while I was parking. Glad everyone got out safe.

It took them almost exactly 1 min from the time they got there to put out fire. They weren't in a hurry. lol
