I am 55 years old and Conan IS what got me into comics, and now I'm making my first comic. I'm so glad to see that the Conan property is being placed in such capable hands!

Great video, Jim. Thanks! Just a question, in the script for panel 1 you wrote "A group of tan-skinned, dark-haired peasants..." but in the final art we have readheads there. Did you notice? Why do you think Roge and Israel ignored what you wrote?

This is amazing and so useful, and the way you communicate this stuff is so, so clear. Thank you Jim! PS Your Champions run was my favorite Marvel comic at the time, and I reeeeeally wish it hadn't been cut short!

Hi Mr. Zub how are you, sir? I hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe and stay so. Thank you very much for the lecture, sir, although i may not use the knowledge you share here directly, the lecture for certain makes me appreciate more all the comic creators working process as a fan.
I gotta compliment one thing about you too, Mr. Zub. You explain things really well, sir. ^-^)b I am sure it's because of your background as a teacher. Your #ComicsSchool videos of course bring more of the technical aspects of entertainment writing which i am not really familiar with, but i am always excited hearing your interviews and studium generals such as your TED Talk, comic and D&D interviews. I am always excited for those things.
One other thing, sir. You mentioned this in your co-op D&D game with Mr. B Dave Walters (it's a great interview and game too by the way sir, thank you.) that you proud yourself in your characterization of the characters in your comic books. And i coudn't agree more to that. Your characterization is really amazing. The few great examples that I have read were your previous Uncanny Avengers run, which has funny collected edition title, Stars and Garters, which for most part kind of focus on Simon Williams/Wonder Man and the people around him and Champions #5, which focus on Cyclops helping the young Champions and the relationships between them.
All the characters are written wonderfully there, Mr. Zub, They feel like a real person that have different personalities too so to say. Those comics are really great. I love reading them. I'll be sure to read them again soon in Marvel Unlimited. I hope you stay writing them wonderfully like that Mr. Zub. Thank you very much sir.
Duh i am sorry i get into rambling things on your lecture here, sir. I am really sorry if i say anything wrong or bad. Thank you very much Mr. Zub. I hope you and you loved ones stay safe and healthy.
You too guys, if you are reading my comment ^-^), i hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy.
    Best regards.

'Writing Conan the Barbarian' can only come from reading and studying Robert E. Howard. There's no other way.
