I had one of these at my old house and I loved it and now we are replacing our broken storm door with one of these larsons like the one you got right here
Thanks for majying this video. This appears to be recommended by a lot of folks. I was overwhelmed by the number of storm doors available but I think I'm convinced with this one because it cam vent in summer. My front door gets so hot because it faces west.
Glad it was helpful! Yes it can be overwelming with the amount amount of doors that's on the market and the prices are crazy!!!! but this door has very good quality. Thanks!
Any time! At first, I thought the door was priced too high, but when you install it and feel how heavy it is you start seeing the quality of the product. A very nice choice for your client.
Great review! I really like this model storm door. I’ve been contemplating getting one from Lowe’s. Are you all still happy with it and have you had any issues with the glass, screen or other mechanical parts malfunctioning?
We love this door! It's well constructed. The only flaw is that the latch that brings the glass down for the screen seems a bit small. So sometimes, when the door shuts hard, the glass slides down a little bit. So you will have to adjust the door to close slowly. I hope this helps. Take care!
Installation took me about 20+ hours to install. Three months later, the screen broke. Larson will not repair it, and customer reviews show that it is a known defect. Also, when we bought it, I didn’t like the look of that cheap plastic clip to hold the upper sash up. I was right, again, it is just too small to hold the sash up. I expect ours to break within a year. One of the complaints was that the center bar tends to bow out from the pressure of the weight of the upper sash. I hope you have better luck than I or the other purchasers did.
Hello, sorry for the late reply. The only con I have so far is the clip you are talking about that holds up the sash. Sometimes, when you open the door, the sash drops, but not all the time. I was thinking about calling Larson for a bigger clip, and from reading what you type, I'm better off searching for one on Amazon. This stuff costs too much to be made so cheaply! Take care!
Cool! Thanks for posting! Just what I needed to see. : )

What a beautiful storm door! We're thinking of buying one. Thank you for the complete walk through and showing all the features!
I'm glad it was helpful! And the door is still going strong 💪 Take care!
Nice post man. Thanks for demoing the features! Looking to install one of these for a client.
