    I was having a ton of problems getting the automatic topology to work, constant crashing and the pen tool not creating polygons, but I fixed it by running the model through the "Unify" deformation in Zbrush, which fixed the pen tool, so now it's able to create polygons. Then I fixed the problem with auto retopology crashing, by running my model through Dynamesh in Zbrush.

      You probably dont care but if you're stoned like me atm then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies on instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my gf during the lockdown =)

    Autoretopo doesn't work for me, it always gives just a few polys even though it is set to 5k...

      Not sure I had a few issues with scaling objects initially which led to strange results, I guess it's still in beta and we're waiting for an update.

    I'm having a problem when I load reference mesh....it's just a black mesh with no material to shade it. The smooth shade at the top is turned on but only way I can see the mesh is with wireframe toggle button. Any idea what the issue is?

    I have the ear auto retopo done separately and I have manually retopo the rest of the face as a separate mesh ,how can I get both the ear and the face mesh to be on the same layer so I can connect them together?

      I've found it. It's under Mesh, merge visible can get all the layers into one layer.

    My software just crashes everytime I try to retopologize after extracting the mask hmpf :/

      3 years later and i'm with the same issue.. how did you solve this?
