I tried to create a portfolio website by chat gpt using html css and js and it gave me an amazing basic portfolio website's code, however the generated javascript Code didn’t work and in css file I had to replaced some code to mordify the web page. Although, there was little bit error but Chat GPT was able to create an amazing portfolio website even I didn’t have to tell that the sections (services, experiences, cv, project). It generated every section automatically which was really unbelievable.

The AI can generate any code for you and company saves lots of money until you end up in a critical bug and the developer doesn't know where its broken and whats the implementation. World needs skilled engineers who know the concepts and implement it not the one who grew up searching things in ChatGPT
The point is not to blindly copy paste code from the prompt and know nothing about it. You must make sure that you understand the code you are using and tailor it to your needs, making sure it meets your requirements. In short, generate code using AI but customize it to your needs. If the AI generates broken code, you have to fix it if you choose to use it.
For my ML project I needed a Web Code to take image as input and give me pixel wise data in numpy array

with chat gpt i have created full stack web app in next js with almost 0 exp with HTML CSS javascript. yeah I have exp with android development but exp in web was 0. completed this project in 30 days with firebase auth, MySQL as backend frontend is in tailwind CSS and jsx components. GPT3 is greater tool for developer but I am pretty sure that when gpt4 will enter in market everyone will get affected in matter of time period. (From my guess it will kill 40% soft job)

With AI you can only generate code for basic stuff not for complex stuff. Also the user still needs to have enough coding knowledge to be able to create that website on his own too because how he is going to fix the bugs and error in the code and how is going to make modifications in the website? All i can see is AI is just reducing the burden of a programmer. He i can use the AI to generate code for the basic stuff and then modify it according to his needs and move on. He don't have to write from scratch.
Even a programmer who doesn't have web development knowledge won't be able to create a website from chatgpt.

That's the thing, ChatGPT says it will not replace anything but we're seeing with our eyes that AI is crazy. From image generation to many problem solving tasks, it's much better than newbies. A client who knows how to use AI, why he will hire a Freelancer and communicate with him (even cheap) as AI can do the same task in less time. We have to learn AI unless it will replace us

totally agreed and chatgpt makes easier everything that takes more times by dev or any content creator to rather than argue anything we have to grow ourself because with the help of this we do big tuff task very simple .

Correct me.. you are definitely working in a product based company because you put down the right thing. Actually coding and programming is the second thing. Analysing business requirements and implementing solutions are still the first and foremost thing. So might be development work will be easy but still businesses can't be replaced
