I've found that you can interrupt Reina's roll with f2,1 as King. You put down her gimmick and place her in one of the nastiest mixups in the game for her troubles.

I can’t for life of me be good at side stepping in this game. Iv got to tenryu as highest rank Iv achieved so iv picked up a lot so far. But every time I try do a side step to pre empt a move it always tracks or catches me regardless. Never had a side step cleanly work. Not sure where I’m going wrong. Is it just timing based ?
For the reina gimmicks, sidewalk left. You were sidewalking in the direction she was rolling lol. That being said just hopkick that shit, theres only 2 release timings and theyre both like 3000 frames long lol
She has a good bit of tracking moves. I love when people start side walking. Makes the fight easier to deal with at Raijin. The ones that interrupt strings are the one that force me to use armor as a guessing game and I hate it. If you get blocked you are f'd

Objectively you're correct about red being higher rank because of the % of people in it but it definitely isn't high level gameplay and when somebody like mainmainswe says high ranks he means at least blue ranks most likely, his default rank is literally red in every character
Lars is utterly cancerous. His movement is so damn weird that its impossible for me to see what hes doing. Nothing what he does has anything to do with realistic movement or fighting. I hate having a big winstreak, for some reason after 20 I become stupid, then right after losing my winstreak I 2-0 the opponent (so 2-1) cool to see someone with a bigger winstreak than my king.
I think it's because she's been gone for 30 years (from the tekken franchise as an official character.) Also helps that she's jin's mom and kazuya's wife so that puts her in that "cool character to play" list. And... of course, her movesets are pretty damn nice

No terrible advice. Learn the fundamentals. Moving blocking punishing combos and poking.Lots of videos there.
