If you really are interested in watching Attack on Titan, the entire series, I would suggest watching the 1st Season right away. You will either love it and know that you want to watch more, or you just won't like it and you can be done with it.
Personally, I did NOT think I would come to love this Series as much as I have! A definite Classic!

Hm, I don't know. I liked the first season, but I stopped watching for years until a friend bothered me about catching up before the Final season. I watched episode 1 of season 2 and have been hooked ever since.
@@williamherman9065 1st season was tge weakest season. 3 and 4 are a huge improvement it was season 2x11 that got me gripped
@@zub41r75 Wouldn't say S1 was the "weakest", it was basically the foundation for a lot of things in the later seasons. It only appears to be the weakest now because of all the fantastic things we get later, but honestly, each season has built on top of another. Rewatch value for the entire series is just insane!

Please be aware that aot community has lots of spoilers whether its on comments or on other social medias. So avoid searching for anything on internet, cuz even a random picture will spoil a major twist in the story. The surprise element plays a huge role in aot. I hope you enjoy it🤍 and please for next episodes do not watch the after “to be continued” clips. It kinda have spoilers too😅 (Except some specific episodes only)

It all makes sense after seeing S4's episode of "From You, 2000 Years Ago". Man Isayama is a genius.
Kind of wild that this show started so popular in 2012, then the hype died due to having to wait for the source material.. Now in 2022.. There's reactions with over a million views per episode.. Could arguably be the most popular show ever? Like Breaking Bad/ Game of Thrones had hype, but the reaction channels are nothing in comparison to AoT this year. Perhaps its the year or perhaps its the content..Who knows..
One thing we can agree is AoT is the most popular show in 2021. It literally get an award as the first most demanded show that doesnt come from US
The most popular? As in, the most known? If so, absolutely not. In terms of hype though… while I’ve seen shows that have higher hype “peaks” (though Aot is up there!), I don’t know if there’s a show that has/can top the, seemingly permanent, amount of hype that Aot has had since 2012. Anyone posting their reaction to the first episode is essentially guaranteed 50k-1m (or more) views.
@@jeremias-serus It definitely isn't the most known show ever but I'd argue it could possibly be the second most watched in 2021, second to Squid Games, but aside from that it also won most in demand TV show of 2021 because of all the hype behind season 4. Another crazy thing is even the intro alone for S4P2 gained over 90 million streams in about 2 months so far.
@@Qixew Succession, Euphoria, and You are all more known than AOT in just this year alone, and the same in 2021--just off the top of my head. Anything on TH-cam, especially when it's shorter than 3 mintues AND a song literally means nothing, each replay is another view. I personally added 40 views to the opening song you're talking about. When average American & Europeans, professors at colleges, teachers at high schools, colleagues at work etc. are talking about aot like they talk about the aforementioned shows... then I'll say aot is extremely well known lol
@@jeremias-serus I know what you mean but those shows you mentioned are hugely popular in the west mainly, especially with AOT being an anime, it’s hugely popular not only in the west but in the east and other places as well. A lot of its viewer ship and fans come from different parts of Asia, South America, Africa, Europe etc. Not only is it’s viewership more diverse than the shows you mentioned but the demographic as well, for euphoria it’s mainly western teens and for You and succession it’s mainly western adults.
It's insane how this show when you first start watching it is nothing what it will be at the end and yet there are so many hidden clues it's mind boggling. Some serious mastermind had to be behind this storytelling.

The first episode of this serial product, in my opinion, has everything you need to capture the attention and the interest of the beholder: rawness, mystery, peculiarities of the character design of the characters (especially the Giants, which are grotesque, strange and disturbing at the same time.) I hope you will continue on this ride towards the great mysteries that this world offers you ... I trust you will not regret it 😁.

Welp, you guys are in for a ride. AOT is considered by many anime and non-anime fans to be a masterpiece / peak fiction. I know you guys love Arcane, I would put AOT & Arcane on the same level of masterful storytelling. But AOT for me starts to get real good in S2. Anyway, if you guys stick to the end, you'll experience one of the best stories ever told.

I would say you to respect AOT and not place Arcane on the same tier as it, even though arcane is pretty great in itself
@@shubhamsharma2923 I would say Arcane S1 is better than AOT S1 but AOT overall is better than Arcane. BUT since we only have 1 season of Arcane right now, it's not really fair to compare. By the end of Arcane, however many seasons it will have, it might be just as good as AOT. We will have to wait and see.
@@Azhy_M I agree but that's because Arcane only has 1 season so far. For me Arcane S1 is better than AOT S1. But AOT overall is better than Arcane (especially S3 and S4). However, by the end of Arcane (in the future), it's possible for it to be just as good as AOT.

The best thing of this show is the storytelling, it is very well done, and the best way to watch it is without watching the openings/endings, without seeing the preview of the next episodes, without googling things about it, without using your TH-cam account to search for AoT (there are a lot of spoilers on thumbnails) and if possible don't rewatch episodes until you are in the 4th season, because there are hidden things that are not supposed to be noticed by now, just really further in the story. So by taking these precautions you will be able to play the "detective game" and be surprised by the plot reveals, and it's normal to feel confused while watching AoT, it's part of the show, every single thing will be explained at the right moment.
And please be really careful with the comments, the AoT community loves to spoil the show (AoT is the most spoilable show ever, just an image or word would mess things up). If possible you should have a moderator to read the comments for you.

You guys are reacting to AoT!? Awesome! It's my favorite anime and you're in for a hell of a ride - as others have said, be very careful of spoilers. There are lots of twists and turns, but also a lot of foreshadowing in this show that on every rewatch you notice something new hinting at something that happens later in the show, and most things get an answer (eventually)... there's also a lot of gore, so be prepared!
Hope you guys enjoy this epic journey, it'd be great to hear your theories of where you think things are heading once it gets a little deeper into the story ... you'll know when :P

For now I can tell You about the saddest fact about this episode: Eren's mother Carla lied to him in order to protect both Eren and Mikasa- when that smiley blonde Titan was taking her it looked like her legs weren't crushed by the rubble. 😭 Overall great reaction to the first episode of Season 1 of AOT! 👏

I think you forgot one big point, is not that they didn't try to create capable soldiers, it's that 100 years had pass, and nothing happened, so they get confortable they took for granted the wall. If you think on that, it's pretty common that people forgets about things when several years happens and you got some "security" like right now, with the problem of Ucrania and Russia, some people appears to don't care if a third world wars begins, because we forgot the terrors of the war, or we never lived them, so we don't give it the importance (exactly what happens in this show).
remember to watch to the very end of each chapter, some times there is an extra scene

This is something to make you more sad, you can see Eren's mom's legs moving still as Eren and Mikasa flee with Hannes, meaning she lied about them being broken most likely to make it easier for them to accept leaving.
