I swear to god I'm not joking this thing is overpowered. Please try out Mekmek before it and all the other small boys get nerfed because its so much fun. Latching is hard to do but once you get a hang of it it's very satisfying.

the best creatures to kos are invisible,just appearing in the back of someone on a surprise attack is op,luxces can kill gods in blood moon
And that is my number 1 reason why the Arrainoa is one of the best sea creatures in the game. It just has way too many abilities stacked in its favour. Its only drawbacks are dart power and weight.

I once killed a breath spammer by going invis as a Miju in flower cove, waited for them to come back and heal, and then appeared behind them, ending their reign of annoyance.

also latching is incredibly OP, especially ones with status effects like Vic or Parux
At 0:01, Poly hits Whispthera for 732, and it appears that Poly is using its adrenaline ability, which increases its damage output by approximately 25%, when striking Whispthera. Poly's base damage is 625, and 25% more than 625 is 781.25. So, Whispthera is slightly heavier than Poly; if we were to make an estimate, Whispthera's weight is around 5000 lbs. However, Whispthera retaliates by hitting Poly for 668, which is slightly higher than its normal damage. If we were to estimate, it would be around 635, which is still a significant number! but we still dont know whidpthera using its ability or not.

I'm surprised I've only gotten killed by one Mekmek in recode thus far, and the worst part is that I had a HORRENDOUS lag spike while it happened.
The most problematic tier 1 for me is Beezu. The sheer amount of times I've been ankle bitten by them is insane

although I do like the latch ability in my opinion it is quite problematic to use for me as I am not used to pressing the 1 button and would be better at it if they just kept it on a closer key like g or something :D. Hopefully the controls update allows you to change the grab and latch key!

Tiers 1... are just OP in the recode.. and i love that, my main is a kiridan and Ghalgeya, while in the legacy it was a Saikarie and a therolachus. I am not poor, but i adore older creatures

Been doing some chaos stuff with puffwamp by latch but the only down side is falling under the map. I wonder if it’s only non fliers/gliders who are tiny get that under map problem. I have to try a birb for this now 👏🏼

you fall under the map when you latch onto someone while on the ground, thats why in the video you see me jumping and immediately latching afterwards so I dont go under the map, best example is at 1:23

another good creature to Kos with is miju and sigma. with the buff to invisibility allowing you to walk without revealing yourself, you can keep up on unsuspecting victims and grab them. its to op

Was so curious watching this I tried this out myself and it does work ofc before doing so I didn’t have much or at all experience in pvp but I was able to get 15 kills befored dying and all ranging form T4-5

they removed the latch ability on mekemek, and it's still bugged, sometimes you go through the map, i hope nest update fix it.
to not make it too powerful, make it so that others can still attack you even if you latch to someone, since almost every player has a pack, that's it.

Yes, we can see the damage it deals to Poly and the damage Poly deals to it. If one creature outweighs the other, it deals more damage and takes less damage in return. Based on my calculations, I estimated Whispthera's weight to be 5000 lbs and its damage to be 635.

I love using beezu because of the necro poison it gives off after biting someone, and its just funny killing everyone on bloodmoon, i also enjoy grabbing unsuspecting people that are sleeping and killing annoying aquatics that jump out of the water to kill everyone. I also love to troll nesters sometimes, ill become pero and go infisible, then take all their eggs and they wont even notice or smell me because of mud.

I once saw a jeff soloed a gyroudus, it tried too decimate my entire pack too and it seemed too have pie chomper as a plush for POWER.

how do u latch onto smth :/ , i literally spam 1 when i pass through someone as a mekmek (yes , even a kora) but it doesnt work
you can't latch while gliding, so in all the clips in the video what I do is hit F on my keyboard to stop gliding and immediately hit 1 to latch :)

Yeah rn the meta is not fun. Defenses dont do anything unless you have 100%. LAtching is broken and makes me want to cry, same with darting. Grab is honestly not too bad when it wasnt bugge dhtis past week.
Invis is op and should be gutted, Lux, Miju, quru, and sigma are just too heavy hitting to have it.
Radiation is also kinda stronk too.
And status effects are broken.
Its really not fun playing anything bigger than a t2 without a 100% defense vs something. CoS is kinda dead atm in some balance regards.
