yes, a decent handful of the names on here aren’t the greatest role models but one can enjoy a piece of art without enjoying the artist, so take these songs as just the creations, detached from the creators, and don’t mention it in the comments. this is a positive atmosphere that i want to upkeep, so everyone just have fun!!
heyyy so i’ve been seeing a bunch of playlists around recently and had the urge the make one of my own! this isn’t all the songs i wanted to add but if i added any more i think this would have been too long to even save to my photos.
sinisterrrrrrrr was an obvious choice, one of my favorites.

(Also if you don't want to support an artist or aren't sure if you still do, playlists are the best way to do it since they give the artist literally 0 money.)
i listen on soundcloud we’re pretty much 90% of it is all reuploads by fans anyway. not that it matters much because people online will still call you a bad person simply for enjoying the music anyway.
@@kart2cat tbh while I don't think you're a "bad person" I think you should confront it if someone who makes art you like is proven to be shitty. Maybe that means a boycott or maybe that just means not recommending them to other people or maybe you don't care. It's up to you. But the shittiness is part of the person who made the art, and without that person the art wouldn't exist. So if you're going to really appreciate the art, you can't just ignore it. It's good to give people options for appreciating it without needing to give the artist money if they don't want to
@@isabellamorris7902 personally i think it’s a strange moral grey area. by this logic everyone who likes harry potter should stop talking about it since now JK rowling is problematic. or i should refrain from talking about my comfort game nitw since the creator of that has bad history. they’re fandoms. i see music artists a similar way. ESPECIALLY lapfox since there’s so many different characters and those characters each have a unique personality that a fan can be drawn to. i don’t have any strong opinions either way for it since there’s just some things that mean a lot to a lot of people and telling them that they can’t like it or support it because of the person it came from would be heartbreaking.
@@kart2cat yeah, but even then there are more options than just "be in the fandom" or "violently hate it and never talk about it". Lots of people used to be or are fans of Harry Potter but are now thinking about it in a different way because of its author, or disavowing the author (and sometimes not purchasing merchandise, buying new editions etc) while still appreciating the things that they took from the work and staying fans of the work itself. These kinds of opinions aren't hard to find online.
Pls don't take this as me attacking you, though. Personally I don't believe it's someone's responsibility to make it clear that a creator is ick *every single time* they talk about a thing unless they're a major influencer with like a million followers and might actually affect sales or whatever. But I do think it's kinda cowardly when people just ignore or excuse the bad stuff people do in the name of "separating the artist from the art" when REALLY it's just a way to pretend it didn't happen
@@isabellamorris7902 i can see where you’re coming from. i like to be polite to others anywhere possible so i don’t like to treat problematic creators the same way a lot of other people do. nowadays, if someone is ‘exposed’ for something then everybody tries their hardest to make sure everyone else knows they’re not associated with them. take for example in the art/animation community. if someone starts a trend that everyone enjoys and then is exposed after, many many people will refuse to be part of that thing purely because of the person who started it. and many will refuse to give credit as well as encouraging others not to give credit. i am not a fan of this. if someone puts the work into something and that something has an influence on you then that deserves to be respected. i don’t believe in calling somebody’s work worthless and completely disgregarding any effort they put into something just because of who they are. credit should be given where credit is due. there is going to be bad people in the world no matter what and i personally really appreciate that and admire the diversity in online culture. apparently so many other people don’t because they use another person’s actions as an excuse to try and wipe them off the planet saying they “deserve it”. it’s okay to know that these people exist so long as there is a disclaimer to not support the bad things they did. you can idolize a specific action someone makes and not the person as a whole. it’s okay to be inspired by and appreciate something someone did even if their other actions aren’t admirable. but apparently online this perspective is shamed on which sucks. i didn’t mean to rant there but i hope you can see my point.
Finally a playlist that has a decent amount of 4lung, really underrated.

Real, love their music, not the people
The only time it is bad to listen to problematic artist’s music is if they are going to gain money from it or something. So if that is the case I usually just go to an unofficial video so I can enjoy the music without supporting the artist. Just a tip!

Its totally fine to enjoy music that is made by a creator without condoning their creation. Unless you contribute to their popularity, spend money on their work, use their work in a popular video that helps them grow and take advantage of even more people. Dunno man seems a lot like burying your head in the sand to dance around an issue. While I agree complaining about it in the comments is going to fix anything, turning a blind eye is no better. Also good job adding the names of the songs with timestamps as well as in the video itself. So many people mess that up.
