I'm surprised that as a crossroad of land for various empires, they had kept their unique language. As for the landscape, i can just see the Lord of Rings&Hobbits being filmed there. Lots of mountains&valleys that has a lot of history going thru it. While New Zealand has similar landscapes with snow capped mountains, Albania seems to have a lot more mountainous terrain and beautiful bodies of water. I can see why any former empires having difficulty keeping this land other than those near the coast as the terrain makes it difficult to move large amount of ppl like armies. It has a certain beauty that's worth visiting.

This documentary is really good and tells a lot about Albania. More historical facts need to be added though, like the topic...the borders of Albania were defined with a ruler and pencil, totally unfair during London Conference in 1913 for example. If you dig more into history is obvious that Albania used to be as twice as it is nowadays. If you visit parts of northern Greece, west of North Macedonia, or Montenegro you will realize that the population in these lands can speak proper Albanian. Poor neighbors of Albania, even their history books are wrong and they teach to the new generation that this land has always been theirs although this land partition was totally absurd(the UK and these powerful countries always known for colonization, wars, unfair and bad stuff). The thing is we are unique in the world and our language has no relation with any other language, or any population. Feel bad that Serbians, north Macedonians( and their made-up country), or Montenegrins think they are autochthonous(native) in Balkan when basically everyone knows, even them, that they are just Russians who left the Ural mountains and moved to Balkan Peninsula. Even their language is so close to Russian. They still nowadays pretend that Kosovo is Serbia while there 99% of the population declare themselves as Albanians. So pathetic for some uneducated nationalists, starting from their Russian leftover prime minister Vucic. Just by knowing this, I don't know how they reason and say that they are unique in the Balkans. Everyone can google and read some facts about greeks genocide in south Albania or Serbian massacres against north Albanians,(or in another case Srebrenica massacre in Bosnia). So obvious they wanted to kill the native people on these territories to pretend that this territory doesn't belong to Albania. That's why when Bill Clinton was in Kosovo to see the situation and these massacres against the Albanian population and Bosnians, NATO decided to make Belgrade looks like Berlin in 1945, pretty fair. It is disgusting and unlogical how nowadays these greek nationalists or Serbians pretend something that is not theirs and want even to extend more towards Albanian borders. Just watch some documentaries where all say that we are the only country in the world that shares land borders with ourselves. Just by googling(Partition of Albania) you can understand and see facts that prove that what they doing is absurd. About North Macedonia, feel bad for those who declare themselves as Macedonians while their roots are either Bulgarian or Albanian. Still waiting for the Census in North Macedonia. They not doing this cause they are afraid to accept that the population there declare themselves as Albanians or Bulgarians, and the ones that declare themselves as Macedonians are less than 30%. If this happens then this country is under threat to be separated. That is the reason North Macedonia and Somalia are the only countries in the world that have not held the Census(statistics about people living there, nationality, age, etc) since 2002. Basically, a made-up country that even their name was changed before some years and where the native population is a minority. Funny! Whoever read this till the end, now you know the history of nowadays Balkans, and if you want to prove if these are right just google Partition of Albania, London Conference, Serbians origin, Greece before and after London Conference, North Macedonia population and you will realize that what I have written here is 100% true. Speaking facts and best regards to our lovely uneducated nationalists neighbors that still don't know the history.

@@paolosantiago3163 write in google, Partition of Albania and you will realize that, about the borders. Before Great Britain and France used to gang up on Ottoman Empire our territory was divided in Vilayetes, an administration form of the Ottoman Empire. And even the map of Albanian vilayets was ok at that time. After the falling of the Empire, the "democratic" western countries used a ruler and a pen to divide the territories and gave more than half of the albanian territories to the neighbors. This caused that most of the albanians to live in a foreign country. After this plan B for our beloved neighbors was, killing these people in order to disappear every evidence of albanians and to declare these territories as always greek and serbian. Google greek genocide against albanians, where 100k albanians were killed by the greeks and then google Kosovo war too. The same thing south and north against albanians in only 80 years after WW1. It's no surprise that wherever countries like Great Britain, France, Russia, USA put their nose, they just cause troubles. Cause of them, the Middle East, the whole of Africa, and India are not stable economically and politically. France even nowadays loots gold from Africa and pays no taxes or shit at all. The moral of the story, the called "democratic" countries of western Europe and the USA caused destability not only in the Balkans but almost everywhere in the world. Long-life to British imperialism and France, the responsible for the poverty of 2 milliards people in the world nowadays.

@Babealbocolombian Lila it is not my fault. Morocco stole all of Algeria's heritage of songs, clothing and food. But we did not allow them to take what is ours. You had to stick to your heritage. Unfortunately, we now compare this music to Turkish music

The best revolution in the world. You should be thankful that I compared this small country to Algeria😂😂😂
