Fact is Eddie has helped bring entertainment back to boxing. Look at all the football interviews these days. They’ve trained players to speak like boring unemotional 2D cut outs who talk more like businessmen than sportsmen. Boxer or promoter, it doesn’t matter, people are tuning in for entertainment and characters like Eddie add to the hype.
Eddie is the best; he is the perfect middle ground between the pre-programmed responses of players and the TH-cam sensationalists like the Paul brothers.

Alot of the older and American fight promoters now do not realise is that what Eddie understands that fans don't want just fights anymore, they want Events. The fight is the pinacle of the Event. That is the best way to maximise the money for the fighter and entertainment for the public. The Americans love Events more than any country in the world. 18 months of annoying them till they notice him, then he will adjust his style. He is a clever lad. It's all about the show.
