If the writers’ plan this whole time was for Sid to lose his life and give him an unhappy ending, they could have done so when Peri ran him over or on New Year’s Eve but instead they gave us hope for nothing. Sid losing his leg seems pointless now. Jordan’s death seems pointless now. Victor’s still around, making the storyline outstay it’s welcome and even when it does end, we’ll be saying how much earlier it could have ended and that’s even if we’re still watching. Hollyoaks has made a terrible mistake and it has gained them nothing.

I'm still not 100% convinced Sid is dead yet. He's in the credits (though if memory serves, they removed Sienna for a little bit during her "death" and I think Tony maybe during his absence for a few days, only to put them back in when they were revealed alive, plus they haven't had Billy do a goodbye (and I'm sure they would given his popularity,) which is also a little sus. I know we're still early days at the moment, but I'm hopeful that somehow he's in protection and maybe, just maybe James is involved, or perhaps even that Sasha girl is also in protection and helped him. There are ways this can twist for the better and I certainly hope they do so. With the Spring preview likely around the corner soon, maybe we'll get some semblence of hope there...
If only they'd pull an "All My Children" or "Days of our Lives" and resurrect a bunch of characters. Faking their deaths and then bringing them back. I mean, Hollyoaks DID just do that with Kurt... so it's within their wheel house. Days is especially iconic for having killed 10 of the main cast, putting it out in the news that they were forced to for budget cuts, and then crafting a story where all of the dead were actually alive on an island replica of their city, (called "Melaswen" which is "New Salem" backwards; Days of our Lives takes place in Salem, USA,) held captive there by the villains trying to break the couples apart and force them to watch their significant others and families move on without them. It went on for a year and was the talk of daytime tv here in North America. I personally loved it. I know the British soaps are more realistic (to a degree) but Hollyoaks does like to pull big stunts, and something akin to this would be epic. Imagine characters like Sid, Jordan, Doug, Harry, Louis, Joe, Nathan, Lisa and more actually being alive somehow. The impact it would have on the families and loved ones when they returned could spawn years of new story and fix so much of the missteps.

Poor sid. Nearly 4 months ago he lost his leg after Peri ran over his leg and now he died from a stab wound.
@Venus’s Potions maybe or maybe not since Victor is cunning and sneaky and he might eventually find Sid and kill him, but Peri could have prevented this by turning in Sid's USB stick to the police on her way to work. If Victor still finds Sid and stabs him, at least Sid didn't need to die in vain. Also, Victor wouldn't expect Peri with the USB stick and Peri can probably walk faster than Sid can with his prosthetic leg and clutches and even seek refuge in the hospital after she turned the usb stick in.

What did Sid’s death achieve? Supposedly to finally get Victor and for Ollie to finally get shaken up but it’s not like they couldn’t have gone a different way to do this instead of killing one of the best characters. He had so much potential, so many storylines that could have been told!

Anybody who thinks there's a theory surrounding sids death sorry to burst your bubble 🗯 but it's confirmed online that Billy has left the show he had been killed off he wrote in a statement online that the scenes were sad to film but also he thought there was something nice about the scene and the ending of his journey he said he had to keep his demise a secret and he couldn't post anything online it's sad 😔 because I loved his character 💔💔❤️

My opinion: I don’t think he is dead. We never actually saw Sid die in Ste’s arms, I think he is hiding somewhere to recover or to stay safe from victor as if he finds out he’s alive he will finish him off. It’s too soon they can’t end the story line like this there has to be more to it than what we know.
Edit: it was just confirmed by billy Price him self that Sid did die from the stabbing. I don’t understand why Hollyoaks would kill off someone as friendly and caring as Sid.

Yes its not ollies fault because addictions bring out the worse in people and they have little control however it is also ollies fault because no matter how bad the addiction is , he knew the consequences. He knew victor was dangerous and would harm sid and ollie made his desision and he needs to pay the consequences.
