the small twig stoves are made to boil water or to cook in a small pot. Not made for a frying pan to cook steaks. They work fine for what they were made for. and you can use larger sticks, they just have to fit in the hole...
I promise it will not boil water easier than cooking a rare steak.

Well, I would drape one of the survival blankets over the top of the sleep pod. That would make it dry.

Good to see you getting the opportunity to get back out into the woods brother. If you're talking about the Nightcat hammock/tent, its not too bad. Bit more of in depth assembly process than i personally care for but i do like what they were trying to come up with. Stay safe out on the road

I liked the idea you had here but was disappointed that the axe was not from Temu. I’ve bought some camping stuff and some knives but have not field tested anything yet. I think now is the time to buy any useful stuff because the days are numbered for availability to this level of online delivery.
I couldn't find an axe I liked at the time they sold out of the one I was going to get and I always take that axe no matter what cause I know I can count on it.

Common sense should tell you that a few twigs aren't going to heat up your food. You're better off building a proper fire , piling up some coals and placing the stove over that.
Actually it was cooking the food just fine. The problem was that I didn't have enough dry wood and what I did have burned up quickly. That being said if I had enough dry wood to feed it till the food was cooked I would still think it is a garbage stove due to the fact of having to constantly feed it and the fact it didn't support a small pan.
Put that little stove in your backpack and you will like it.

I keep one at all times just don't show it.
How was the paracord? Is it sketchy to buy and rely on temu paracord?
The paracord is trash and a waste of money.

@lliliiliillliliiliili5180 it is good for tying stuff just not the survival stuff in it sucked. I would use it as normal Paracord.

Don't swap out anything. Just hang a tarp over the hammock with a ridge line. Again skill set.
If it lights with a lighter, it's a tinder cord. you need to take the red tinder cord and tare it up into a birds nest and it'll light with a ferro rod.
I tried to light it multiple times it didn't work well even with a lighter.
Sounds like you spent $200 or more on this gear. Nice video either way. Glad to see the cheaper stuff actually working.

Taking 5 mins to read the instructions would make you more knowledgeable with the products you're reviewing.
Guys seriously please think about why teemu stuff is so cheap because I promise you if any company or business offered such cheap stuff as often as temu does they would lose so much money they would go in massive debt in 3 months to the point is they would not remain a company
Thank you for a great review video which i really enjoyed. I'll share some info about Temu and their camping equipment on it as well.
Temu is a offshoot of PDD holdings (Pinduoduo Inc) a NASDAQ traded company, it's one of the largest e-commerce company in China, kind of their ver. of Amazon, Specializes in affordable but good quality everyday items, they sales to hundreds of millions Chinese everyday. Temu is their intl. offshoot, so they're used to dealing with huge sales volume at inexpensive prices. The products on it, are generally good for the price point, though some are better deals than others, along with few bad apples.
Company like Naturehike is one of biggest Outdoor/Camping equipment brand in China, (kind of their Ver. Of Coleman) based in the coastal city of Ningbo, in the province of Zhejiang. As china became more developed in recent decades, their people became more affluent, Outdoor sports/Camping became quite popular there, if one travel through their National Parks & Campgrounds, will see Naturehike products quite often, hence the generally good quality. What we see on Amazon or Temu are just a fraction of their entire products line up, usually selling by a 3rd party e-retailer on Amazon, ebay or Temu, just as Toyota don't sell their entire line up in US, there's many Toyota cars we never even heard of outside of Japan, cater to their domestic mkt but not intl mkt.
The World is changing fast before our eyes, China's Domestic Brands products quality are improving everyday, not just on camping gear but across the broad.
It's similar to Japan went from 70s-80s cheap cars & merchandises to 90s-00s fair & fine quality products at decen prices. Pretty soon some will become internationally recognizable brands & dominant players.
If 5 years ago, someone tells me a Chinese Outdoor Brand company makes the world's best ultralight titanium backpacking stove, I did say you must be joking, but now everyone seriously about backpacking heard of BRS stove.

Temu is directly from China. All Americans use the same products but it goes through a few middle man. Therefore raising the prices. Temu u simply cut out the middle man

the mesh cover on the hammock isn't made to hold out water. It's a sun shade. You're supposed to use a separate tarp.
The mesh on is for Mosquitos the other is the rain fly it said so.
First thing you gotta know, is that what the chinese say about their products on a chinese website, it rarely right.
and what it says is the hammock is waterproof and the top is for blocking the sun. Even shows it as a sun blocker in one of the pictures.@@hetrickoutdoors
Good video but sorry to say l hate that stupid tick tock view it's like why did you buy a big screen TV and have to put up with that crap and I say you want black bars around your TV screen go cut some cardboard and paint it black and stick them on your TV

It doesn't matter if the stove sucks. I wouldn't own it. You don't know how to use it. You build a fire. Let it burn down to coals. Put the stove on the coals. Then cook on the coal bed. Don't blame the stove for your lack of fire skills and knowledge.
