Early 1970s

More of the home movies I've been converting here... we used to go camping at Philpott lake and my stepdad had access to an old bus that was converted to a camper(ish). Some of our family on one of those camp outs at Salthouse Branch. Another birthday party... neighbors and school friends. Yep, that's me wearing the purple fringe vest (mom made it for me and I thought I was hot shit). Another Christmas with my grandparents, Nell and Pete. Cousin Jeff learning to play Ping Pong with some help from his dad out of frame. Mom's birthday (I think). More time on Philpott lake in our boat. I was a cub scout and we were in the Martinsville Christmas Parade. Mom and Richard got married in 1973, so their wedding day and honeymoon on the Blue Ridge Parkway is here. Yet another Christmas... my grandparents and my friend Dale Prillaman.
