    The Q-51 was originally was going to be a S.B.S to Cambria Heights to Gateway Mall. But the MTA decided not send the Q-51past Rockaway Blvd A train Station . Just for passengers to either take the A train to Euclid ave and then pay another care fee for the B-13 from Euclid to Gateway Mall. Witch dose'nt make any sense. The Should've done was left the Q-51 as a S.B.S to Cambria Heights to Gateway Mall. But that's not happening. Also the MTA decided not have the Q-78 from Bayside to Rockaway Blvd or The Q-7 to Cedarhurst. But instead the MTA just listened to people who complained about loosing like two trips to Cedarhurst on the Q-111. Also the MTA didn't want the Q-22 to Five Towns. This new Queens Bus redesign is no good. No 24 hour Bus service on the Q-68 from Williamsburg to Elmhurst Hospital 🏥. That Bus is going to a Hospital 🏥 MTA Hello. You neef to add service not yake ot away and B-53 is supposed to be the replacement for half of the Q-24 part of 46. Along Broadway to Sunnyside. Sir.

    On one hand, I believe that these changes are great for Queens. But I live in East Queens. From what I've seen, there is nothing really being changed out here, except for the new routes Q75 and Q110. I actually really liked the first draft that I've seen of the plan, which had the Q75 going from Little Neck to QCM via Horace Harding Expressway. It also had the mentioned Q78 route just become the revised Q27. Either way, I really liked those routes and wanted to see them implemented. There were a lot of other amazing changes that I liked from that version. The MTA unfortunately decided otherwise. This whole plan is based on feedback, so I believe a lot of people spoke out against the changes and wanted things to be the same. If this is true, this is immensely disappointing. I am also disappointed with the Q36, a bus route that I believe could be a game changing route for East Queens if it was improved. However, all they have done is reroute it through Springfield Blvd and make it run from 4 AM - 10 PM instead of 5 AM - 9 PM. The abysmal 15 minute frequency still remains as well. I'm disappointed in New York, and especially with the decision to not implement congestion pricing. It just seems like transit is taking a nosedive from this point. I hope we can fix things before it's too late.

    The Q31 is still going in the bayside area. Just going to the shopping mall

    There is no plan that they could ever come up with to satisfy everyone. The one thing I’m happy to see is no mega routes. The old plan had two routes in one like the Q36 and the Q24. The longer you make a route, the more chance you have for that route to get caught in traffic areas. Now when any one part of the route falls behind schedule, the entire route falls behind schedule and this is where people fail to understand. Just because the spot where YOU are standing is wide open with no traffic doesn’t mean the bus got stuck somewhere down the road. Let’s look at it another way. If a greyhound bus left Florida going to NY but there was a hurricane and the bus left 6 hours late, do you still think the bus would get to NY on time?

    The Q37 being extended to JFK is a terrible idea. That bus is going to be extremely crowded. I already gave feedback concerning that bus since it's the bus I take. Many South Ozone Park residents are going to be livid since stops in South Ozone Park are eliminated in the final draft. It should be left the way it is now.

      Hating a change cause it’s gonna be crowded is stupid

      @@Sean8888TTP So is extending the Q37 all the way to JFK airport. The many people who have been taking this bus for years would also disagree with this change.

    Westchester is redesigning their own bus network. When did that happen, and yet Westchester does not have the OMNY system

    To be fair some express buses aren’t needed that new QM65 is useless vs the LIRR and Qm3 is the worst performing express bus route. The LIRR is enough

    It might be a 4th draft if anyone don't like this final draft

      I think at this point they’ll just make adjustments on the fly. Similar to the changes they made after the SI and Bronx redesigns.

      This is a *proposed* final draft. We still need to sound out these community board meetings before this plan goes before the MTA board for a vote.

    What is the difference between a rush route and a limited route

    • @intesaralam
      @intesaralam  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Based on their proposal, limited routes stay limited their entire route, and are focused on connecting neighborhoods. While rush routes make local stops in a pick up area and then make limited stops to the nearest subway station.

    The fact that there are no SBS routes east of Main St/Van Wyck is a joke. There are at least five routes that would benefit greatly.
    That and the Q66 also not getting SBS were terrible moves.

    Q101 needs to continue to service manhattan for rush hours .. if your handicap your losing a transfer & will have to pay two fares . Example you would have transfer to q32 or60 . & have to pay for m15 or q69 /q 18
