Yes, no need of any software . Incase your printer is not detected , you need to download printer specific driver .

I used to use an Epson ET-2550 th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.

You can order some inks & with the help of syringe you can insert it to the same catrdige & use again. There are many videos on that in TH-cam.

Hi , It depends on your usage. I am still using the default cartridges till now and it's been more than 6 month now. But my use cases are rare.

Can you tell me which lights are exactly blinking? If it's for both color n black white page, then reinsert your catrdige again & try. If it's another led on top then insert your page to input tray properly. Thanks!!

Yes, your pc should automatically detect the printer, once you connect the usb cable. If not then you have to download the printer driver & check.

My cartridge lights are continuously blinking after installing for the first time , what is the solution?
Normally the light blinks when the cartridges have no inks. Check for the installation part. Do it one more time and restart your printer.
