Btw I think there is another way to get to this, but I honestly forgot how to get there, not sure if anyone knows but if I figured it out I will upload it. I do believe when I entered the ? painting a different time it took me to a seemingly unfinished-looking world, that had a dark cave in it and when you entered that dark cave it spawned you into the level at 1:37. So, not sure exactly.
I looked up videos about the question mark painting since I just found it, so here's some help for the other way! In Beta Lobby A, look up After that you enter the pipe which leads you to the beta third floor When you're in the main room (the one that looks like the TTC/RR area in the final game you have to look up again Hope that helps!
I also found two other locations through the painting One is the hedge maze you can also visit through a pipe that you can find in the outside area of the Plexal Lobby Another one is some kind of corridor that starts with two yellow arrows on the sides
@@ayayayastar yea ive now heard that if you enter the ? painting you have one of 4 places you can be warped into and it apparently depends on what position (like how high) you enter the painting! have yet to confirm it myself
From what I've tested, this painting has a 50/50 chance of either sending you to the unreachable core or bringing you to the secret garden maze outside of the plexal lobby.
Glad they kept the corridor(s) silent. All corridors/liminal areas in the game should be silent, makes it a lot more effective. I've noticed that all the 'payoffs' seem to just be a crash, and once you know nothing is going to be consequential, it makes the payoff/climax the least scary part.. the parts that actually are spooky are the parts leading up to it/before it.
This is the hard version of the maze. There a soft one that i've entered in and textureless Mario was waiting for me. And btw, this happened with the AI core with the cryptic message "DESTROY THE CORE" at the Toad Statue of the 4th floor.

@@clovisii9366 Ooh interesting! So it's more of a Wet Dry World thing?
@@ayayayastar Not sure yet, I'll have to go back in and record when I play next.

It depends where you enter the painting
Doing a play through now neither of those were what I got.
I was shitting my pants when I accidentally stumbled upon this lmfao.

I didn't know you could look up in this random room
thanks ig
Ah. It crashes the game. That’s good to know.
is Bowser the real antagonist or is it the game AI?
Though bowser has a pretty strong antagonic presence, it looks like the ai is the actual antagonist.
There isn't an actual plot to the hack anyway
the game is very nonsensical by design
