helloooo it's been a while and I'm back with @BUCKTICK 's Dress! absolutely iconic song. sakurai atsushi is literally my muse and I swear the moment I saw a video of him singing I felt like I was having a divine experience
so once again I underwent the grueling task of producing the track bc I thought it was gonna be easy. Big Miss Steak. It took a lot to get the sound exactly as I wanted-- similar to the original but not a copycat. I produced two copies actually, one only +2 keys and this +4 keys before deciding that my voice really wasn't shining with the lower key...
for the sound inspiration I referenced the climax together 3rd live sound! it was So sexy and a little different from the original but I love it lol. the harmonies were inspired by the TM Revolution x Sakurai Atsushi dress duet but a little more done up!
I'm hoping to get the next one to y'all as soon as I can. Special thank you to my listeners who come back time and time again even though I update so infrequently 💗

久しぶりっす！今回はいつもカバーしたかったBUCK-TICKの名曲を歌ってみました~櫻井敦司さんは僕のミューズです
初めて彼のパフォーマンスを見たとき、絶対に彼より美しい存在はいないと思って衝撃を受けました
今回も自分でプロデュースしました。大間違い。絶対に簡単でしょと思ったけど結構細かいでしたw第一回はキー+2にしましたけど声の音色があまり出なくてもうちょっと上がりました。サウンドは2013年のClimax Together 3rdを真似してみました。ハモはだいたいTM Revolutionとduetした動画からのです
毎回聴いてくれて本当にありがとうございました。ほんまにリスナーがいなかったら僕も動力がない。次回は必ずもっと早く動画を出したい！💗

Loved the concepts, but I just thought your vocals deserved to be a little louder in the mix overall! I thought one of the really impactful things about BUCK-TICK's version is how authoritatively he almost "states" the lyrics in your face and I thought your cover was really good and had the same potential if your vocals were abit louder?Just an opinion!!
I just recently rediscovered Buck-Tick and this is one of my favorite songs by them. You have a great voice for this type of song and you capture Atsushi's presence quite well
