Emily deserves a public apology from the fans and IDF staff. No little child should be getting death threats for telling truth and told to lie to keep the money flowing.
Yeah, I'm sure Freen felt bad for it too, but she was on a contract she could not break 😞 when you're on a contract, your not to yourself anymore, but you the company no matter what. Even now. Hope she breaks her contract

I hear you loud and clear. It's wrong. As a queer woman myself I am hurt. They took it to far.
I agree , they did take it to far. but we should have investigated it ourselves. so im not mad they not together. in a way I do feel as a lesbian woman they exploited the gay community for money and I dont agree with that. so I wouldnt bash them but I cant mess with them like this no more.
Fanservice isn’t just for gay ships, lots of straight couples do fanservice even in Hollywood like PR couples. There is no way to know whether Freen and Becky are queer or not, unless they tell us. Freen has said she likes both men and women so that would make her a part of the queer community. Freen and Becky have also repeatedly informed fans that their relationship is phinong (friends/sisters). Becky just said in an interview “Freen is like an older sister to me, she takes care of me” so they never claimed to be dating therefore we can’t hate on them and blame them for not dating eachother. No matter how they look like they act, at the end of the day WE DON’T KNOW THEM. We don’t see them every moment of every day and we don’t have a right to either. It’s their private life, they don’t owe us their life.
HOWEVER I still do think that fanservice is exploitative. Just like any marketing is exploitative, it tugs on your emotions to get you on board. IDF and the girls acted in ways specifically to make people ship them. Most adults can see right through the marketing techniques but I feel bad for the kids/teens/lonely gays who aren’t used to seeing this kind of marketing and believed it was real. I wanna call people gullible for believing that rich lesbians who are apparently madly in love for 2 years, aren’t living together and never hangout together without their manager or outside work events, unless it’s a very staged photo opp or with fans or their colleagues. BUT I get it because some stuff seemed so genuine, and it probably was. But that’s how they get you. They show you genuine moments between them that are completely platonic but paint them in a romantic light.
The most important thing to remember is don’t become attached to someone else’s relationship.
And don’t believe someone said something or feels a certain way unless the person involved has explicitly confirmed it first hand, out of their own mouth, with an accurate translation and NO chance of editing or manipulation. If you follow that last one you’ll start to see that 90% of the things we think we know about celebrities are probably not true.
Shipping is supposed to be a fun escape, I think you can still ship FB as long you’re respectful and keep it to yourself!
I fully support Becky and Freen as young women, actresses, artists, and genuine caring people. I care about them both individually and together because together they brought us Sam & Mon with GAP series. Their love and care for each other in real life showed us all what loving and taking care of someone's elses heart, needs, spirit, etc. FreenBecky showed us that we can find "our person" and they can be (almost) everything to us, grow together and that person also not be a romantic partner. THEY SHOWED DEEP LOVE IN MANY FORMS IS POSSIBLE❤❤❤
They deserve to have their own private lives and feel safe. It is unacceptable for them and anyone associated with them to be attacked for loving whom they love and for giving us entertainment that we wanted.
Like many, I will admit that deep down I did wish for them to overcome the obstacles of age, phi-nong social contracts and other pressure and differences to be romantically linked and be wlw out & proud couple IRL as well. In thinking more deeply about it all, I know it is only natural for all of us in today's world to want life and reality to be easier, to wrap everything up in one person, one good job, one kind of love, one whatever. FreenBecky appeared to have the fairy tale all things beautiful in one person, one kind love.
In light of all of the recent revelations, it did make me shed tears for the end of the romantic link of FreenBecky. But HEY, we all can still stand tall & strong in FreenBecky fandom in Love and Care beyond romantic labels. They showed us that the most beautiful love and relationships do not have to be confined in only one type of romantic love. Deep Love in All Forms Is Possible to truly fulfill our lives the way it was meant to be without labels, limitations and singlular relationships. Ultimately, we all want to love and be loved, be seen, supported and grow with the people we care for that care for us.
We all know this type of relationship is possible because that's what FreenBecky gave us all without the confines of romantic labels. We all can live knowing different types of deep love without limits is possible because FreenBecky Did It Baby! Let's still support them individually and their future projects together ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊

We have to not fall into the trap of thinking that only one-kind of all encompassing love that includes romantic relationships is the only type of Love to be valued. This type of thinking creates false fairytale-like expectations of seeking "THE One" when the reality it can be The ONES that help make us feel fulfilled, seen, supported, loved and whole.

IDF is falling waaaaayyyyy short on holding up their end of their contract to keep its artists safe from stalkers and safe from overwork from them. IDF needs to do better period and find better ways to promote a Deep Love Beyond Romantic Boundaries found in FreenBecky and not throw folks under the bus! They must also always have a transition, growth and succession plan to "release" both Becky and Freen from FreenBecky pairings to allow both artists to grow individually which could generate even more money for the IDF corporation. Similarly, Glaiza(sp) and Rhian GL couple is still revered more than a decade later WITH both actresses having separate loves and lives. FreenBecky is a symbol of DeepLovePossible. They gave us love, affection, care, support, fun times and many heart swelling moments of what Love looks like now both with and without the romantic component. Becky has accepted Freen's relationship with another long ago and acknowledged it at the first Manila trip. They wanted to make us feel good and support positive visibility of WLW relationships which they accomplished globally. The fans now need to transition to unconditional supporters of both Becky and Freen individally and upcoming projects / promotions they have together ❤💯😊

Honestly I don't usual get headaches but....when I saw freen during that press conference...I don't even know her as well as fans or love her but...her condition there...I'm human...it broke my heart...the whole company should have been there apologizing to their fans
I'm wondering why so many fans are acting as if something was done or is being done to Becky. She knew. She knows. She went along with everything just the same. Not bashing Bec or anything. I'm a fan of them both. STILL a fan but Becky is not innocent in this. Anyway, i think with all the anger coming from fans, they should cancel her birthday celebration. F had many opportunities to tell the truth. The Teayii interview was about Seng. As well as other things she said we attributed to loving B and Seng mocked every fan with his posts.

There are fans that are talking refunds and want the gifts back but look at it like this. They provided a service to fans,albeit not entirely an open and honest one but they did perform as actresses and singers so it’s not like they scammed people by promising performances and not following through. Compromising their health at times to satisfy their fans demands, these actresses did a terrific job when all is said and done.

I’m so glad you addressed the “poor Becky” situation. I love both but the way ppl are uplifting Becky and demeaning freen like they were partners in this and the girl already has panic attacks that have literally hospitalized her. This could literally make her suicidal.The fact that ppl who are supposedly fans are ignoring the fact that the woman was stalked and had her privacy violated to get this info is ridiculous. We don’t even know if becky has a partner too just that freen was caught first. Absolutely agree! They are a ship, both knew what they're doing, Becky is not innocent as many many protrait, it's not fair to blame only Freen in this. While freen was constantly telling Becky to tell ppl they were single and not together. Like I said they were both wrong but Becky is gaining followers while freen is receiving death threats. It just sad that y’all prioritizing a ship over a woman’s safety and putting all the blame on one but praising the other for being so “strong” during this whole thing.

i was kind of keeping my distance ever since the time the little girl (emily) said that "Freen has a boyfriend". Part of me didn't want to believe it but another part of me did. Much love and success for Becky and Freen but my time on the ship has came to an end

I want to start off by saying I’m straight and an ally. I love watching love stories and got hooked on Gap. Freen and Becky portrayed those roles perfectly. I appreciated their openness and willingness to kiss properly and show affection on and off camera ( let’s face it some actresses just peck especially in Asian culture and some just don’t have that chemistry like FreenBecky).
I was happy for lesbians having representation since here in the USA a lot of lesbian shows have been cancelled even though the show had great ratings or they will kill the lesbian or bring a dude in the story line.
I believed they were a real couple while knowing they provide fan service. When this hit, I didn’t understand why people were upset because FreenBecky said they were sisters. They didn’t make the fans spend money.
BUT listening to your take on it, I get it.
I agree Idolfactory are some scum bags that threw Freen under the bus knowing she has mental and emotional health issues.
I have a problem with people not caring that Freen will NEVER in her life feel safe again no matter how much therapy she gets. Safety is an essential NEED to live a happy life. I don’t like them piling on.
When FreenBecky became popular, some in the queer community were bullying, harassing, sending death threats, etc.
These women understood the importance of representation, weren’t afraid to talk with the fans, and talked about queer issues. I don’t understand why you would attack people who are allies.
I really want to know because it’s rare that lesbians get everything to click- story, actresses, real kissing, and actresses open to affection from another woman.
My fear is this will make some Asian production companies shy away from GL teams or stories. I could be wrong. I hope I’m wrong because Asian baby lesbians need to see themselves represented well too.

You said it so much better than I do, this destroyed Freen's life forever. Just hope this on top of her prior anxiety from online harrassment won't lead to suicide. And with all these happening, they still have events and her birthday show coming up. I personally would probably break down and need to admit to psychiatric hospital. Damnnn. I love me some freenbecky and i honestly do not feel any type of way about this situation other than IDF not doing what they are suppose to, doing that little girl like that is just crazy. Spread Positivity and Love Guys.
A lot of these fans got issues. Since GAP ended, people keep saying Freen has changed. She's not affectionate towards Becky anymore. All these people just stirring the pot. They get upset when Freen shows affections, they get upset when she doesn't show affection...fans are never happy. They should get over it. Let the girls be. They've denied so manyyy times and that they are close friends. So many people are delusional.

I also want to say I hope that lil girl and her family gets a public apology from everyone involved that made her lie and had her family looking bad for telling the truth.
To me them acting wasn’t really an issue. However knowing a lot of their fan base is younger them being coached to act a certain way towards each other so much that Freen who has been dating this guy for a while wasn’t allowed to go public with her relationship in order to sell merchandise, tickets, live shows is wild to me that a company would manipulate their actors in order to milk a fan base. Because they could have put lady Sam and Mon on merchandise. Let Freen and Becky be the good friends and best friends and ally’s of the queer community in interviews and events knowing how close they were would still have those moments that people would read to much into. And let poor Freen tell people she’s in a relationship and people would root for her and her relationship.

Hi Nikki, first of all I love your channel and the first two I heard your laugh I had to subscribe. Now my thoughts on this. I agree with your analysis when you said they were a couple in the beginning and they truly love each other and have a connection that goes beyond a romantic love. But things did change the past few months. Unfortunately with fame and fortune there are consequences which we are seeing. I hate that Freen is being blamed solely because if we remember they said they know everything about each other so Becky knew. But Freen's privacy was violated and that's a crime. I never knew what BL/Gl was until I saw this series and enjoyed it but I think I will stick to my Korean dramas 🙂 I hope they overcome this and lesson learned. Once u understand fanservice and how big it is over there, it doesn't hurt as much . At first, im like, but why continue the lie even after gap the series, but again thats how they do things there very differently than newyork . It was explained to me from someone who watches BLs, and i get it now . I am disappointed, but it is what it is . Freen and becky are under contract its not just freen, so it sucks that everyone is hating on her. Both of them did what they did for their contracts . At the end of the day, im a lesbian and they're allies, so its all good . Thanks to them for bringing us our first GL show, and I'll continue to support them regardless.

I absolutely agree with everything you said Nikki. Our minds are very much alike, that's why I love your content. I also think that Freen and Becky had something at some point, but in the end of the day, it doesn't always work. People that are attacking Freen, Becky, Seng and the others are disgusting. I've been feeling something bad in my stomache since i saw freens confirmation. All day thinking back at moments of them (trying to think how we got things so wrong) and in my free time watching all the reactions and hoping for a video that said all this was a misunderstanding or has some deeper explanation.
but after 1 day and a half, my stomache has just stopped hurting while watching this video (it took me almost 2 hours cause i kept rewinding certain parts). now i feel like i'm more at peace with this whole thing. to the point that after this video and a little of time i will be able to enjoy Becky&Freen New projects. The fans should be considering this first. Be sympathetic to her and support her. She did her job to bring entertainment and joy to fans. 1. Freen can date whoever she wants (I was surprised and a bit taken aback because I actually thought they romantically were interested in each other and I was excited about the LGBT representation. Freen gave me "don't get ahead of yourself vibes" most days.)

3. The fan service was A LOT (which I think Becky contributed to way more than Freen)

I just found your channel and, like in the previous video I just saw, I really like all you said and I really thank and respect you for being here saying all that. Many people have to finallly understand that doing what they did to her/them is not okay. However, the one small thing I don't particularly agree with is the part about Freen having to be held accountable. I mean, we all do, and we all should take responsability for our mistakes. The issue I have with it in this particular case is that she and Becky never ONCE said they were a couple, they never once confirmed their status as nothing more than "Phi-Nong/sisters". Their work, what actually got them famous, was a lesbian couple, which they played beautifully and VERY much respectfully to the community, in a way that many other actors can't pull off, and for that and their private and personal chemistry, they started being shipped. They did make money out of it, but because people CHOSE to believe they were secretely a couple, instead of taking them for their words, people chose to believe what they were saying were lies to hide their "true relationship" because they looked too much like a couple. I myself still ship them, but, like you said previously, I understand the line between my expectations and reality. That is why, I for one, don't see that as them decieving anyone. Quite the opposite, whenever their relationship status was asked, they openly and clearly said they were just friends, even though they KNOW most of their fanbase/contracts/sponsorships come from their ship, and they could risk losing that support for saying they are not a couple, they still chose to be open about it, showing once again, they didn't "play" anyone. Never once did they leave it up for ppl to make of it what they wanted, or "implied" they were dating, as you mentioned. Imo, they were honest and clear every single time the question came up. So I can't think it is "their fault" and that they should apologize at all, for being kind to us when WE chose to continue shipping them. They didn't lead anyone on in my opinion. They were being themselves, honest and we chose to see what we wanted to. We talk about contract, but I don't know to what extent that is correct, since, like we have all established here, their connection and chemistry and possible relationship were all honest and truthful, and if they were bound by contract to imply they are girlfriends, they would probably be told to avoid saying they are not. That is the only point I don't agree 100% with you. And it is just my opinion, and you might be right, I'm not saying you are not. And my mind might be too protective of them unintentionally. IDK. BUT I certainly understand where you're coming from and also agree 100% when you say it is good from her to apologize for hurting people even though she didn't mean to. That I agree completely with, I just don't agree with the idea that we should expect her to apologize for "fan service" when she was always open about their relationship, or that she did any of it intentionally. Like you said, we could see their interactions were genuine, and not meant to "decieve" people intentionally. But it is probably more of a Thailand thing than an Asian thing. As far as I know, this level of fan service doesn't happen in the entertainment industry in Singapore, Malaysia, or China etc. So not an "Asian" culture. We are also shocked at the extent

I do feel she missed the opportunity to speak up about Seng a while ago when Little Emily talked about her having a boyfriend. I think fans would have eventually accepted it with Becky’s support. But IDF covering it up pushing that little girl that was their biggest mistake. I’m sure it was the start of Freen’s on going mental health problems - the stress of it all being a secret when she could of just been honest after that famous interview. In one way I applaud Seng for supporting Freen throughout her health problems but on the other hand because he was making hints on his instagram that he was her middle person he made things worse for Freen causing more intrigue which has led to where we are now with FREENBECKY. I have a bad feeling that once the legal issues are over IDF will either push Freen to end her relationship with Seng (because its not good for their brand, how do you market them when one is in an open relationship with a man and all the question about Seng during fan meetings, very awkward for Becky?) or IDF will let Freen continue this relationship and hope the pressure from fans will break them up. The characters were positive and their intimate scenes were not exploitative. They were married and lived happily ever after. Isn’t that the type of representation to the world you all wanted? They were nothing if not supportive of the LGBTQ community. Without shows and actresses like them you would probably never get to see two actual lesbians represent in a TV/film role like this. Is it just forgotten that they played these roles in a country where it is still illegal to have wlw relationships? After the show was over they provided entertainment in a space that was safe for lesbians and others. They could not have been any more kind to the people they came in contact with. They are two women that are an exemplary example of love and sacrifice toward each other. How well does it serve LGBTQ people to forget ALL yes ALL these things and trash the two people that did all these things because they aren’t gay? Shouldn’t they be thanked for positively representing a community they aren’t even a part of at the expense of their own safety? Did they “play to the crowd”, yes. Did they earn their living during this time, yes. Did they deny being in a lesbian relationship every time they were asked, yes. Does Freen deserve all the hate coming her way because she likes a man? Is Becky next? It seems like they represented the lesbian community in a much better light than some of you are right now. Or was their representation of love the lesbian community too broad. Something to think about.

They didn't create the series, they were just actors getting paid for their services and playing a script. So all the praising for their roles and "sacrifice" is irrelevant. They didnt sacrifice anything, they were just co-workers who acted based on a signed contract. IDF used their chemestry and bonding to the extent of prolonging the fairytale from the series to real life for their own benefit and fame. And they both agreed to it by contract and got well paid for it, that's why Freen tried to hide her relationship as much as possible and only gave vague answers to fans. Nobody said they hate Freen for having a bf. You try to portrait them as victims but the fans are the ones that got scammed into it, losing time, money, emotions. The girls and the IDF just got rich from people's naivety. They did more wrong to the lgbtq community by continuing with this deceit. Because, let's be honest, their fame rose after the series because of the fanservice pointing out their deal is real. Sure, the serie was nice and their chemestry was good, but without the fabricated story that continued, they wouldnt have been so loved by fans thus they wouldnt have gotten so much attention, money, fame. In the end i must say, they are not totally to blame, i mean it's in the human race to be greedy and selfish. After all, money is the root of all evil, and will always be.

I'm annoyed with me for believing the story, it seemed so real, but we already understand that his work brings with it the fan service that is to give the public what they want to see. I think the worst for the "FreenBecky" brand is about to begin, the FreenBecky fandom in China (the largest) stopped buying all of their products (sales dropped by 50%), you had collected about 50 a thousand dollars to give Freen on her birthday and they voted to distribute it in other activities, that is, they removed all support for Freen, then the sponsors and the brands they promoted together will withdraw, Freen lost followers on IG and Twitter. In conclusion Freen lost, Seng won (became more famous) and Becky victimized. With this I learned something, "looks do lie and words do too".

You are right in saying that the IDF should take responsibility for what is happening in Freen. it all started with them and they should not have prolonged the issue. As for the fans like me, we shouldn't blame freen because we wanted to love team freenbecky, we chose that and we are also the ones who made our expectations that we know in the end might hurt us. get what I'm saying don't let freen feel all the blame! I respect and agree with most if not all your views. But something certainly feels off. I’ve worked in a law firm so I understand a presscon like this would be scripted because the point is to “shut the door on the matter and leave as few gaps as possible” but it’s like they left the door wide open. The issue is FS and all Freen does is confirm it’s them in the video. Why not seal the issue with more information like current status if present relationship or dismiss it as an old video? Why leave the issue wide open for interpretation rather than actually end the discussion unless you’re trying to placate the masses and not hang yourself at the same time if something else comes up. People assume they are together because she confirms it’s them in the video, but she doesn’t confirm a relationship.
Furthermore, the body language. While most people see a sad and distraught Freen, I see coercion as an addition. Yes, there are times she’s visibly reading, but there’s also times she’s looking at someone/something off-screen and even nods after looking. But then you watch Seng’s video and his release is even more vague and he doesn’t look distraught in the slightest. He seems confident, or at the very least unbothered. And for someone who would’ve known about this issue since 7/23, his 3 TikTok videos after said date certainly don’t show a person who has been violated. Whereas, Freen in public for fanboom was clearly impacted.
It’s possible that everything is as it seems, but it seems like a messy clean up job and almost like a “too good to be true” planned privacy leak for whatever reason. Who knows. Just my thoughts. 😂

When they said something like we are only phinong, when Freen said she treat Bec like little sis that she never have, when they told us stuff, like this kid stuff, we automatically went the route oh they are doing PR, trying to not admit it... so even when Gap blew, and Freen in particular scale down the fan service, we shipper just would not believe it.
