I'm a country boy, my first time in Berlin for a week on a school trip in 2005 (when I was 17) was a “culture shock”. I remember a man in Kreuzberg, probably two meters tall in leopard leggings, high heels, fur coat (despite it being almost 25c and sunny) and sunglasses, walking a marten on a leash. And a diplomat's car that sped through a red light and I was just about to cross the light (because it was green) and a teacher shouted and grabbed me by the back of my shirt just in time, otherwise I would have been run over. And food from all over the world, we tried everything we could get our hands on financially. Then, years later, I went back for four days and we went to clubs and parties every night ... it was fun, but on the other hand, I was also overwhelmed, I'm not used to big cities 😂
