      It is mainly the 4 cylinders vs the Yamaha's 2. A 2 cylinder engine has more torque in the low/mid range but comes more abruptly. The Honda has a 4 cylinder engine which deliver a much smoother and linear power delivery and besides, in my opinion, an unmistakable sound. After 7k rpm you better hold on because it will pull all the way up. As for build quality, well, Honda is Honda.

      This is only legal if you buy the catalytic converter. However, it's E marked so if you get stopped at the roadside by the police that's probably all they will check. If you get stopped by VOSA, you won't be so lucky as they have exhaust probes.

      You don't have to but to get the best possible fuel/air ratio it might be something to think about. The downside is you'd also need a controller such as a Power Commander and then get is set up on a dyno, adding to the cost. I didn't bother with any of that and for the most part, it was ok. There is a natural flat spot at around 6k and this exhaust made that a little more pronounced.

    Hi Dan, I’ve watched a couple of your videos just because im about to get a CBR650R in a few weeks. Keeping my cravings at bay just for now! Id love to know what area in the UK you’re living in so maybe we could meet up when I get it? It will be something to see thats for sure, something a little special! 😉
    Anyway keep it up man, you’ve got a good nack for making videos and you do it well! Would love to hear back from ya!

      Well this one you can take out as it's not actually the one designed for the 650R but the 650F. I got it out using some steel rods with a nut on the end and went in from the front (that's what she said)!

    • @Englishbikerdan
      @Englishbikerdan  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's not 100% required but doing so will improve the fuel/air mixture. You'd also need some dyno time to get it just right. I haven't done this yet though as PCV isn't out yet for this bike according to Dynojet UK.
