So question I have heard that ohmic is very temperamental and can have slag from piercing cause it to not read the plate? or dirty material cause it to not read... so with that I find a floating head better in some situations.
I heard that too, and if you have too much water on the table it can also impede your cuts. I have the floating head and has worked fine. But Jim knows best.
