i installed Geekbench 5 to my current
LG Reflect It scored 130 Single Core Score & 489 Multi Core Score
Meanwhile the score on the
TCL 30XL shows this: 155 Single Core Score & 868 Multi Core Score Wow!
Believe it or not, the TCL 30XL is going to be an improvement from what I had. lol!
hmm barely think one app would still only use single core unless your using something made to utilize more.
I have the Cricket Influence. I remember watching your review on my old LG Rebel 4. Not the fastest phone out there by any means, but not so slow that it's unusable

Hi all. Does anybody know if the UNLOCKED version of this phone has a built in Hotspot that actually works and will this work on the Verizon network or one of its of brand subsidiaries? It says it will work on Verizon in the jungle store and it says it has a hotspot, But Has ANYBODY actually used the hotspot function and if so does it function as it should or does it get throttled way down like some carriers seem to do or only work with data from different towers? MANY thanks in advance .

What is the latest and best TCL phone right now? I'm looking for an unlocked phone. Any recommendations?
I'd be a little hesitant to buy, as their TV's aren't built to last, but at only $150, it's probably a pretty decent "smartphone on a budget " phone.
Really my TCL 65in in living room been running fine for awhile. Only one that craps on on me occasionally is a Vizio
@@Steven-vh6fg I'm just the opposite. I've got an old vizio "dumb TV " flatscreen that I've had for nearly a decade. My buddy and I both had 65" TCLs crap out after about 3-4 years, as the leds went bad. It seems to be a fairly common problem, at least with that model.
I'm not sure how you came up with that comment, maybe you got a bad tv, I Dunno. I can tell you I run a motel, and their TVs are great. and i mean great. Vizio by far most blow ware. they last, there picture is good, not as good as a 5000 tv but why better than any budget tvs we buy
@@saltypatriot1768 I came up with it because myself, as well as 2 people I know have had tcl TVs crap out after about 3-3.5 years. A quick Google search will show that backlights are an extremely common occurrence, as was the case with mine. That's where I came up with that comment. Perhaps the models used in hotels are a little more robust, unless you're putting 65" tvs in every room.

Just got this phone yesterday great phone I love it big screen for video and gaming easy to use case are hard to find right now I'm using my Revvl v+ 5g case on it until I get mine I have on order .

so this is basically a tcl 30z with double the ram. Hopefully it comes to cricket
There's two models of it that are compatible
it works on Cricket Wireless as I have this phone and it's a pretty good phone.

I am new at this. when you say the down side is a 4G lge? does that have to do with my home internet? Thank you, sorry for the stupid question but I do not want to make a mistake.
He said 4G LTE which is slower than 5G which is now becoming standard for data uploads and downloads however 4G is unarguably and infinitely more times healthier lol.. these are trade offs that can add years to your life lol
Can you run android auto on it?
This device seems like a downgrade in every way possible when compared with what they launched last year and the year before even. In terms of the chipset they decided to go for. The Helio P22 is half as fast even as the Snapdragon 665 they used for their models last year.
Good phone
I had iPhone 6s under AirTalk wireless and then the data and Wi-Fi so slow the iPhone 6s charge real fast and then I cancelled with AirTalk wireless and then I waited 90 days three months and then replay then before October 11 I got Samsung Galaxy a03s for free because I’m on food stamps
Would appreciate if you add the knowledge if phones do or don't have NFC. It helps
FYI, this phone does not have NFC, unfortunately that's a deal breaker for me.

I wouldn't call a $150 phone "Very Low End".. The 39.99 to 59.99 would be "Very" low end.
I've had it for about 6 months now. Honestly you would be much better off getting an old flagship refurbished like an S10 or s20. I have an S9 plus and it runs circles around my TCL. As time goes on the TCL will slow down and the chipset is awful for gaming.
It has dual speakers that not a mic

I’m not familiar with there being an earlier version? The entire TCL 30 series launched this year. Last year was the 20 series.

Damn that phone is slow af... i ran geekbench on my fold 3 and got a single core of 1144 and multicore 2550

apple yep over engineerier phone with subpar apps that don't even need a fraction of the speed and power and lowest end Android phone can run anything that's on the Apple store
I two governments cellphones and I got the iPhone 13 Pro max and it dose not work that good I have one plus Nord n100 is under a&at I do not the two I got I’m going to sell them I bought the one plus under eBay I paid over 100 dollars and I bought on eBay Samsung a13 with 5g I will like that better
Just for your guys reference my I-phone 7 single core is 369 Multi Core 712, I don't understand how these Android manufacturers are releasing such subpar phones. How my 6 year old phone is twice as fast as one being launched to 2022 is just crazy to me. Like walking into BestBuy and purchasing a Celeron for a gaming pc lol.

Absolutely. One of the wildest realizations I had is that my old iPhone 5S actually had a brighter screen than my 2021 Moto G Stylus - and that's considered on the higher-end of budget phones. iPhones release as flagships where as these cheap Android phones cut massive corners to save costs.
@@vvvios dude is literally comparing apples to oranges here...with apple OS only having to run on one series of devices its not hard to support older models longer

This phone is absolutely garbage and not even worth the the 150! Tcl is the biggest contributor to e-waste. Also want to mention that the display is horrible and has micro dimming which turn dark scenes darker and bright scenes blinding! This is the worst phone for content consumption! The speaker sounds like a trashcan rolling down a hill...
These phones are not that great. Bottom of the barrel.
It gets the job done. Not too bad.

You might not want to put even a wallet sized phone in your pocket considering all of that carcinogenic EMF noise emitting therefrom lol.
