For anyone who wants to know the reason for the snatchy throttle, it is that, when you roll off, the ECU cuts the fuel feed to the engine because that reduces consumption and emissions. When you roll back on the throttle, there's a momentary lag between you calling for the power and the fuel being injected once more, hence the jerk. As you say, the mod you're using tricks the ECU into thinking that the throttle is still open, so it doesn't cut off the fuel and you get a smoother response.
Yes well explained. I'm going to do a review video about it and include such things. It happens with any fuel injection, diesel inc. the ramp rate in which it comes back in is the issue and later stuff is simply mapped and controlled better
@@PiggyPower I have a Power Commander III on my FZ6 which remaps the ECU. Not only does this help stop the jerky throttle response, it also smooths out the "hole" in the power curve that Yamaha put in around 5-6000 rpm to give better emissions figures, but which can cause the bike to bog down just when you start an overtake!
My previous video youll see I fitted one and got a remap at Dynojet UK ...and it didn't help. It vastly improved the bike but not the throttle snatchy issue
I don't post links to parts on eBay and Amazon etc as they expire after a short while and I'd have to find new links and edit the description on dozens and dozens of my TH-cam videos each month. Sorry, just not feasible. There's 100s of different ones available on different sites from cheap cheap to genuine. Google is your friend.
Engine braking not really, I don't think much about that anyway as there isn't all that much engine braking in these little 600s... Fuel consumption I don't really consider much either as I ride for the joy and a style of riding has the biggest effect on mpg
Please tell me that with enough British pounds sent your way, you will make me one of those cables. I dont have the where withall to do one my self. I'd accept full responsibility and liability for use. Let me know if its something you would consider and we can get the ball rolling sned emails/phone etc
It's really not that tricky pal, the link in the description has all the bits you need? I could make a couple I guess but I'm self taught with 99% of my skills and only have made one thus far! You can contact me direct on PiggyPower official Instagram page 🐖👍

@@PiggyPower Odd, it certainly seemed to help with mine.
I've seen a few find it improves it...hence why I invested a lot of money and time in doing so
Definately improved the video sound
What part? Could you fund me a microphone system??
F i n a l l y. Thank you so much Piggy! Time to order some stuff!
Yeah sorry for delays ... Have fun! 😊🐖

Hi! I will try it too. Can you post some links or model of the connectors?
Also did you notice any difference in engine braking and fuel consumption?

There is a link to zady5 post in the description with all the info.
So the connector type is "AMP 070" and nobody mentioned it on the forum.
Really? I didn't work it out myself I just copy pasted the numbers on zady5 thread and found them that way
Further .. the link to the 600riders thread for my post... In there is a guy called Morelius who gives a list of parts
