Based on our extensive travels, I would argue that this is THE most beautiful drive in the world. We have done it three times and God willing there will be more in the future.
We've visited many national parks in the USA, and this is fantastic. There is a surprise around every corner. Don't miss the unpopular parts of the park either. Bravo.
I've been up going-to-the-sun road twice once when I was almost 4 and a second time shortly after I turned 22. There would've been three times, but the year before my second trip we took a trip up there one month too late for a late season trip up there, the farthest we could go was the park at avalanche Creek we decided to take the opposite way in the little fork in the road, past the entrance, which is just mostly driving up a gravel road until you reach the Canadian borderline, which is understandably blocked off. You have a good view of the Glacier Mountains while driving up that gravel road.
My friend you have yourself a subscriber. Going to the sun rpad/Glacier national park has been my dream to visit and you have raised the bar. Thank you very much for your relaxing music and beautiful pictures.
Huge distances and vistas like this give me extreme vertigo, I would probably black out if I was driving on this road...... even watching this in full screen started to make me a tad dizzy.
Your videos of the Tetons, Yellowstone and Glacier are spectacular!! Glad the road was open for your visit to Glacier. No bear encounters?:). Thank you for these.
mustardfj40 For this video - Sony AX100. I have the camera used listed in the details section in each video, but this is the cam I have been using in the last 14 months
Val P Glad you liked it :) Shot on Sep 11 (western part) and Sep 14 (eastern part). On Sep 11 and 12 the road highest points were closed because of the fresh snow. Check out the other couple of videos about hiking in the Glacier, you might enjoy them as well. Best regards!
I’ve been over the GTTS Road a couple of times, but it took your video to make me appreciate its true magnificence. I’ll go slower next time! Thanks again M,
Thank you :) Just before my visit there was a heavy snowfall (early September !?), and the road was closed. The fresh snow gave really nice and crisp look at the mountains
what area was it at the beginning of the video with the rising sun hitting the mountains? St Mary Lake? we plan to camp at Rising Sun campground this summer and this is what I would love to see in the morning.
+Mia Aladin this on estern side, need to check on the map to be sure which one, I think that was on the going-to-the sun road, maybe I noted the times in the description. On a trip in Aftica right now, hard with Internet, sorry cannot give you the exact answer
I have been asked about this several times, the reason I do not do it is that is that in most places there are distracting sounds, like people not visible in the camera. It is doable in some cases and even more if the sound is recorded at different time at the same or similar location. Probably I will try this in the future, it will be tough though given that each video has tens of clips, sometimes more than hundred, and the sound should be ok for each of them, and my time is already full shooting the video.
+Jack Dan Yes, this is by the road, close to the western entrance, as far as I remember shortly after you pass Lake McDonald (several miles maybe, maybe very close to the lake)
Jack Dan At this time the road will be closed, but probably the lower elevation parts (where is the view that you liked) will be opened, just in case check on the park's website/phone
I feel like amazing nature shouldnt have cheezy epic synth music accompaniment. I did turn it down. :p This place is very dear to me. Saw wolverine off hiline trail.

Only did it once when we were living in southern Alberta but will always remember it .

Thanks again M,
Thank you :)
Just before my visit there was a heavy snowfall (early September !?), and the road was closed. The fresh snow gave really nice and crisp look at the mountains
Great scenery, some narration re: what we are seeing would be better. Mountains and lakes have names.
what area was it at the beginning of the video with the rising sun hitting the mountains? St Mary Lake? we plan to camp at Rising Sun campground this summer and this is what I would love to see in the morning.

Totally understandable, the only other suggestion I have is make the videos longer :), I know with the 4K content it takes awhile to upload
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!
The videos are awesome, but have you ever though about making a version with just the natural sound

New model 4k video now,, I Hope you can up many videos 4k . Thanks and goodluck
Thank you :)
Have a great weekend!
Holy Shit its gorgeous!! Wow
Tjis park is cerainly undervalued, also some outstanding hikes!
Just beautiful!
+Paula - It IS beautiful - but do you have to swear about it? :/
Clearly yes I do! That's what I did. Do you have to judge me? Clearly yes....that's what you do.
+Paula Johnson - your distasteful comment clearly reveals all about your lack of character - I don't have to judge you at all :/
Does anyone know if the view at 6:00 is easily achievable? I would like to make a short trip there, but I want to make sure it's doable.
+Jack Dan Yes, this is by the road, close to the western entrance, as far as I remember shortly after you pass Lake McDonald (several miles maybe, maybe very close to the lake)
Awesome thanks so much for the info! I will be visiting in two weeks.
Jack Dan At this time the road will be closed, but probably the lower elevation parts (where is the view that you liked) will be opened, just in case check on the park's website/phone
Amazing Places on Our Planet
Thank you!
Thanks kiu miu

This place is very dear to me.
Saw wolverine off hiline trail.
.57 scene from start of The Shining.
Beautiful scenery, marred only by that intermittent "T minus 30, T minus 25" blather, barely decipherable under the lovely music.
If you were around in the 1960's 70's in North America t would resonate with you .
