The one part in there song laying fire upon apep the drum video...the way his feet move from the bass pedals to the outside pedals to play that part just blows my mind
Somehow my slave side foot has developed this technique well but my right foot is way slower. My right foot is also more coordinated so I don't know what the heck is going on. Had this problem forever.
no. google is your friend. heel toe is basically a full leg motion followed by a "toe tap" from the ball of the foot when you lift your leg again. george is just using the "toe tap" from the ball of his foot. it is possible he switches to actually using his big toe at extreme tempos but that i do not know for sure.
Makes it look so easy. Great drummer.
Let’s be honest. It looks so simple but it’s hard to get that feeling and comfortability with this technique lol

he makes it look so easy its ridiculous
Great stuff!
Great video, very well explained. Funny, with all the boxes in the background. :)
that's for noise reduction
MONSTER drummer!
That beater distance at fast tempo. How? :D
@Nick Collins magic, that’s how.
plus his springs are maxed, this dudes drum muscles are strong.
Thank You Very Much for your lesson technique! Very Very Good! :)) :))
Molto bello come esercizio....ed è anche un onore poterla scriverle qui Mr. George Kollias. Nice too meet you Xelgor Blast
"That's it :)"

Awesome thank you
the technique plus a axis drum pedals configured tight is equal to become a extreme drummer
Wait, what he’s capable of is humanly possible?! I always thought he was just a robot.
george: thats it. pretty simple.
me: yup....
what exactly is difficult here?
you just balance your foot on a pedal, and use it's mass + your let's weight to play.
How this man uses double pedal: he doesn't
OK
once you notice it, it gets worse...
Fuck you can't watch now lol
And that's it
2.20 "normal playing" XDD

Is the modern heel up and heel toe are the same?
no. google is your friend. heel toe is basically a full leg motion followed by a "toe tap" from the ball of the foot when you lift your leg again. george is just using the "toe tap" from the ball of his foot. it is possible he switches to actually using his big toe at extreme tempos but that i do not know for sure.
