@@Bilbus7 You're only thinking about logical stuff. God is beyond human comprehension. Just because someone trust in God you question his commitment to his spiritual journey. He didn't force his beliefs on you but he expresses how much it means to him. If you question why bad things happen to him and blame it on God then you should have thought why believers stay true to their faith even if the world is tough on them. Better yet, they lean on God more rather than question him.
Much respect to MPJ for battling through his obstacles with a positive attitude...if he can get back 100% healthy with no back issues he has all the focus & talent in the world to maximize his potential. Quiet grind, loud shine!
My favorite player in the 2018 Draft. Its awesome to see guys go into the league not afraid to proclaim their faith in God. Anyone can see how geniune Michael's Faith is. The league needs players like this. If you see this Mike... Stay that way, keep being a Godly example for those that see you on the outside. Your Special, God's Got you bro, your going to be great.
I mean people always complain about people disliking for no reason while I'm just impressed that out of over 220k people only 33 decided to dislike this video
If I was an nba GM, I would have found a way to draft Young and Porter. Great and very successful young men. These are kids, you should trust your health staff to guide them back.
Trae young?? If so I agree 100% I've been saying since the draft the sun's should of traded back got young and picked up porter that would of been scary
t tay oh forsure! You guys could have got a monster deal for Ayton too. These gms are so crazy for him. Trade Ayton to Atlanta for John Collins, Young, Spellman, and unprotected 2019 1st rd pick?? Draft Porter at 10. Core of Young, Porter, and Booker with a ever improving supporting cast of Collins, Spellman, Josh Jackson would be scary.
You know what Michael, i dont know about faith, but standing for your people, going back to your home state and trying to make them happy was the best thing you could do, these things will serve you good ,in whats gonna be a great career, all the best from India, Stay humble.
MPJ u probly won't see this and it might now effect u at all but I just want u to know that ur the most inspirational person in my life When u committed to Washington I cried but then u came back after signing ur dad as an assistant and then I woke up one morning and saw that u could miss the whole season I went and watched almost every single high school game that u played in I could find and I still watch ur highlights when I'm sad Then u came back and I thought we had a chance at a tourney run after the loss I was so sad and wished u wouldn't have in case it made the injury worse. I'm so glad u got drafted and I follow ur life a lot U really inspired me and a lot of other Missouri fans and other people too I hope u recover and hav a great career so thanks Michael. U the best Shout out to u to Jontay I hope u recover and get picked up by someone cuz u hav a lot of potential
Haters will say it’s fake. I love MPJ ever since High School the kid has come off truly humble and beyond his years. Before he got hurt I thought he’d be the next media darling. But instead the media was lazy and called him a PF lol. Anyways I wish him the best and he’ll be. Star by 2020-2021 season
Watching him get hurt especially in that game was a heartbreaking experience for him and the entire university I was in the fifth row of the student section that game.
The number of Mizzou fans who turned on Mike after he got hurt were a tiny minority- the vast majority of Mizzou fans know that MPJ had every intention of doing great things at Mizzou, and a lot of us think he DID do great things at Mizzou. Our men's hoops program was floundering in mediocrity for several years, then the Porter family moves back to Columbia and everything changes for the better. The entire Porter/Pingeton family is so intertwined with Mizzou and Columbia, we are lucky to have them as part of the Mizzou family.
Ive been a fan of yours but now im more of a fan. Im a huge basketball fan but a bigger fan of life and thats what you denmonstrate. Rooting for you and praying for a complete recovery where you can showcase your talent.
God bless you brother! Keep your eyes on Jesus! You learned an important lesson early as a foundation of what God will do through you and you will face similar challenges (but even more fierce) in your NBA career. They will try to keep you down, pull you this way and that way, and tear you apart and trap you when your values are different than what they promote. Darkness hates the light. You cannot serve two masters. Keep the faith and fight the good fight. Keep your eyes on the author and perfecter of your faith. He rejoices over you His son... and His grace is enough for you. We are all proud of you!
This is like the Jesus. He came and everybody cheered Then he Jesus started preaching. Well Micheal came in and got cheered then booed. Congrats on nba journey.
Damn. He got injured before the season started last year, and his brother got injured before the season started this year. That’s stuff. Hopefully both can carve out successful HoF careers and maybe end up in the same team.
I thought you were going to be my favorite player of all time, up there with the likes of Marcus Denmon and Kareem Rush. It didn't happen but this puts alot of perspective on your situation. You'll always be a Tiger and I'll follow your career to the end. I still wonder what could have been!
This Guy has something more important than skill, Mindset. Not only at basketball, but Also in Life.
pray to god this young man makes an amazing comeback and he has a long career
What happened to him. Tried looking him up on google and wiki It said Nuggets gave him this season off cause he had a past back injury.
God?
Why would we pray to a non existent God? If God does exist, then it caused this to happen in the first place.
Elmers Mind Games That’s not how that works.

I support this man,God gave you a gift but your multiplying that by changing others in your path. Amazing story
This is exactly why I love him! He’s so humble and has such an inspiring connection with God, you can see straight through his heart!
Thats why i love him
He has all the tools of a modern nba wing. I hope he recovers and has a hall of fame career
Not a modern and mvp
I hope he turns out to be great, he deserves it! Go MPJ!
God blessed you bro. Teams well look back at this draft and shake there head how they passed on him in the draft.
His family is injury prone. I don’t think he will ever live up too the hype that surrounds him.
