I really appreciate you showing the contrast of your shedding. I have drastically reduced how much I shed to where it’s like the rushed side so I really understand why my hair is stuck at my bra strap now lol. I’m shedding to much still. So, moving forward, and thanks to you-my hair growth will flourish too! 😊
You just changed my decision on chopping my hair off lol. I have the same pattern as you but my hair is shorter. Thanks for the inspiration to keep going!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has the oddly satisfying feeling watching my own video lol. Idk what it is about seeing a smooth detangling process, but it does it for me!
You think so? I haven't noticed, but maybe that's because I see my hair everyday. Hard to tell (for me) unless I compare my hair now to my hair a few months ago.
DO IT! I didn't, not to my knowledge. I didn't bleach my hair so I think that's important to note. I've gotta film that video on dying my hair to help you guys out.
I honestly never thought to use a shower brush before. What made you decide to use that as oppose to finger detangling?👑👑👑. New subscriber and I am loving this video by the way💞
i enjoyed watching this video 💖 i have type 4 hair and i hate detangling my hair so much cause my hair is super thick 😩 but i’m going to try it out with aloe vera juice. did you detangle your hair before or after you washed it?
Omg how about my son just bought me this brush. He also brought himself one. He loves it. I haven't tried it yet but as soon as he comes home from college and I take my loose twist down this brush will be on my to use list.
Just follow it up with a creamy butter or a thick oil.... I use aloe Vera juice as a leave-in then I apply my Shea butter mix it helped solve the problem for me
You’re hair is beautiful and looks amazing! The hair on the ends with the color was wanting to tangle and cut up! Lol 😂 you was like no not today!! Not this time!!! Great video!!!!
I have 4a type hair and I tried using aloe Vera juice once and it made for hair feel extremely hair, I was wondering if I left it in too long or something but since then I've never used it again
No just different. Having straight hair isn't easier than your 2/3 hair nor is it than any 4 hair. Difficulty comes from making the hair do what it doesn't naturally. Straight hair women dying for curly hair depend hours now for styling whereas 4type women can style in 5min if styling equates to styling and not forcing.
I'm curious what styles you can do in 5 minutes. Braiding or twisting my hair can take hours. I could do French braids in about 10 minutes but that wouldn't last long.
@@crafty_stuff7 Over manipulation like twist outs and what have you or Intricate styles with braids take hours and woupd with any type 4 hair but wearing protecrice styles saves time during the week so its less than 5 min. Wearing the hair out as is doesn't. Just dumps some cream and you're good to go and it looks good. Night time spritz and band then in the morning unband etc. Again, that's a quick fix and will need to be redone likely. Point is its possible to style 4c hair in 5min.
@@najma2613 Ok but what you describe is definately 'harder' than what you would have to do with type 2 or 3 hair of the same length. Especially when you factor in the extra detangling sessions that wearing my hair curly would cause. I think type 4 hair is much higher maintainance.
@@TumultBoy how are you taking care of your hair? I have another routine that makes my 4c hair a breeze. I do regular trims and loc method for moisture retention. But that's just me, something else could work for you.
I'll never get why 4c ladies enjoy wearing styles that place our hair in such a mess to begin with. I'm not about to spend hours detangling all this hair. I've always only rocked styles that benefit it.
@@xolyndajay I feel you tho its not really along the lines of being afraid. More like once you have truly thick, and long 4c hair. You do more damage wearing styles that would leave it all matted, and knotted up. Might just be something you don't have to be concerned with. Until you have enough growth to maintain to begin with.
@@dnd4346 I know that's right I don't either. I'm an avid style adventurist from natural color to fabulous styles. Still I'm not going to compromise my hair health to achieve it. I mean I couldn't obtain thigh length by not avoiding damage.
@@shellyreynolds8948 I mean my hair is long as well (look at my profile picture) I absolutely love twistouts my hair likes being stretched out but sometimes i'll wear it in a puff if I don't have time
Round of applause for the curls! Thanks for the detangling tips.
Haha, of course! It's my pleasure!
Moment of silence for that definitiooooonnnn 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I used to use aloe Vera like nobody’s business. Then I used it all & just never got anymore 😫
Did the aleo vera give your hair sheen
@@20sugga Im not sure if the aloe vera alone gave me sheen but my scalp was definitely healthier and my hair was softer & more manageable.
The standing ovation for those curls hunny!!!

In jamiaca we put aloe Vera on cuts and bruises. It heals it really fast. but it is said to make scaring worst.

What’s a good substitute for aloe Vera juice when u don’t have any?
I find aloe vera juice has been great for my dry scalp, but dries my hair out! Have you experienced something similar?
I heard that with somebody else here on TH-cam. Actually quite a few times.
Same here

What hair color did you use please ?
