The vibes on 18 tee were real. 4 great athletes hyping up each other to throw some great shots. Awesome crowd aswell!
What an Awesome round to watch! This is the best total coverage that DGPT has put out yet! The commentary [ not taking a thing away from Ian but I absolutely love Philo] and camera coverage were very good! All made possible by a great round from the players! :) Then there is Dela itself...such a beautiful but cruel mistress! I've thoroughly enjoyed every second so far!

I could not agree more. I like Ian, but Philo's performance was some of the best commentating I've ever heard in this sport.

I am not going to directly disagree with anyone, but generally disagree with the concept that there is too much of luck factor at Dela to put it on the elite series. I see the course at least on film and it seems to capture the essence of disc golf. Saying that we can't play Dela because of the luck factor is like saying that World Championship Poker shouldn't be played because of the luck factor. I believe the mix of luck and skill make the game compelling. It would be interesting to see some statistical analysis of player performance vs players perceived ability, but even that has some question marks because it takes a different skill set to score here than on a ball golf course. My guess is that Dela has a little more variance than some of the other tour courses, but I don't think it crosses the line of unfair. I think it is right at the line of awesome. If you don't like Dela, do you like disc golf?
It's very humbling to watch pros come to your home course and just destroy it. Like that tee-shot from James on 10. That's just such a stupidly hard shot to make so I was happy to see he birdied. But, that's why they get paid the big bucks, I guess.

807 Completing the Hole:
In order to complete a hole with a basket target, the thrower must release the disc and it must come to rest supported by the tray or the chains below the chain support.
It says nothing about not touching the metal or anything like that.

Awesome coverage guys! Ian and Philo are a match made in heaven!! I was lucky to play in the Bucci Masters Cup from 1996 and this place and course are the best! If you miss your line, you have a problem...that is what I also remember. 🥲
