Yeah! The game has a quite interesting and emotional story and for the most part in regular gameplay the game mechanics work really well and fairly bug-free, and allows for interesting strategy when getting skilled at the mechanics. It doesn't shy away from mature topics and has a sort of inclusivity that does not feel forced. It has a few weak points, such as the sidequests mechanically not being super interesting and the bosses beyond the first two declining in design quality, though still being alright, which probably stems from the game mechanics being so unusual that there's not much to take inspiration from when designing them. Overall amazing game and would recommend it
Okay I know that our scrap count is thight af but there is a way to squeeze into the main area (that one with the missle) where the waves die. Maybe try to start the area like normal and then drop down, idk it might save time
I'm not sure what you mean, going past the down-left blockade at 35:37? I don't know of any way to do that without progressing the game enough to the point where there is a rocket launcher bird there that apparently could take that down for you, but even then I don't see where you would make up the lost rusty scraps, because you need to go out of your way to get those
Wait there was a blocade!? Honestly I never noticed XD But that got me thinking, you can't blow it from this side so how my dumb a** got here? I swear to god I didn't take the path around.
Lots of practice, but it's actually very lenient with like half a second of leeway from the dodge or something, so you can dodge fairly early and still not take damage from the explosion, harder is to aim exactly where you're going
I see you've been uploading Laika speed runs often! Was wondering if you enjoyed the game before focusing on the runs? Your thoughts on the game?

How do you time those rocket jumps from the launcher, they seem finicky!

do you stream these?
Yes, you can catch my streams at www.twitch.tv/therealxxfillex
Does the game actually just give you the hook if you manage to make it to The Big Tree without it?
Yup, specifically you get it when you talk with Orella since she tells you to use it
