From what I've heard you play on TH-cam, I'm not at all surprised you were accepted at every school you applied to--including Juilliard. I'm long past my college days (and I majored in art, not music) but I still found this video informative and entertaining. I hope your advice to "just keep playing" helps more than a few aspiring musicians.
This is exactly what I needed now, set in my applications for auditions at different schools 2 days ago and now waiting eagerly for replies on how the auditions will take form since they won't be in person this year. Thank you! (Hearing you play after my quite successful practice session makes me realise that I have to practice even more... but well played!)
I know this video is old but I’m waiting for prescreening decisions and I’m curious about when did you get results? I’m here just sitting in wait and most schools do not say when I can expect to hear from them!!
I’m 13 and want to go to Juilliard I haven’t learned the piano I’ve only done a year and a half of violin but I’m practicing every day and In the end I want to practice 4 hourse a day, at the moments it’s my dream collage, have any advice?
Congrats man. If you guys want a viola sonata or piece for 4 violas let me know; I specialize in tonal music influenced by the early 20th century English school of music.
@@ViolaKing Oh shoot - I guess there's no more inbox on youtube :( I'll try to post on your discussion page; maybe that will make it past the YT spam filter.
@@moon_chaser22 Hey - I don't think I can make it past the filter by posting here, but if you search my name and 'viola sonata' the sheet music links are in the description box under my videos.
