The first song he was about to sing was Oakie from Muskogee ... then the second one was Silver Wings ... then the Bottle Let Me Down. All fantastic songs. Love so many of his songs it is hard to suggest anymore but please check out his list of hits .. The fighting side of me, Sing me back home, and his impersonations of many country singers too. I think you might be the first I’ve heard mention about how he allows his band to do their thing by giving them all, not just the lead guitarist, a solo. It’s a throwback to Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. They both always had killer bands.
