My son is currently finishing up SWCC and is vectored into TACP and will start the schoolhouse after the new year!!! He is so stoked and has kept a great attitude through BMT and SWCC. Just the other day he sent me a video of him ditching his gear in the pool, so cool!
@@rhinotv3646 SWCC in this context means Special Warfare Candidate Course. It's the prep for enlisted airmen who then go the the respective pipeline(CCT,SR,PJ,TACP)
Man, I dunno why so many class videos for SW prep, TACP, and A&S are popping up on my feed lately but it's always interesting to see how median, or Chapman annex now, has changed over the years. The dorms and forbes hall look like they got some nice face lifts compared to the last time I saw them.
This is the best TACP Falcon 117 Video Ever... I used to think USAF were white scarfed pilots...having know all the test pilots from the F-15, and the first air to air kill by my friend Gabriel Shactor against a MIG in Israel....I am so proud to be an American and to see this very inspiring video, Falcon 117 Rocks !
I'm a year into security forces and always wanted to go tacp but didn't test into it asvap wise. I want to fi ish my contract as SF and go TACP. This looks rough but I imagine you feel amazing after completion.
Man this seems like a fun adventure, I need to find something that'll give me purpose. Maybe I should join the Airforce and try to be part of AFSPECWAR.
I've been considering the AF Special Operation pipeline, I'm currently a Civil Affairs specialist in the army, I did just reenlist but definitely going to have to research this as an option. Maybe not TACP but one of the SO opportunities. THE AF SO guys I've talked too all have a better quality of life, better training and equipment, seems like a no brainer to me.
Yes they do. Officers go through an initial selection called TOPT. It’s a 5 day selection process in order to become an O. Assuming you’re selected then you go through the schoolhouse alongside the enlisted candidates. Officers are usually the team leads.
We started with 36. Ended with 11. During block 2 we had about 47 with refires. This doesn’t include the people we lost during Specialwarfare Candidate Course (SWCC).
What's the intense part about SWCC ? We're guys just not prepared ?....An Refires must mean washbacks ? Last is what's the difficulties with your guys land nav , an thanks 👍
The only reason I didn’t take this contract was because I thought my body frame was too small and that I would even break something in process of training. After watching this I should’ve took the contract anyways but I ended up getting some bad info from a marine lol go figure. 😂
My TACP school went alot different to this....im sure i was sober for a few days....and no PT... none of this CQB...or section attacks....We are not SF, If the SF want a tacp they send their own.... 1990-2008 UK Army.
Cool beans, I'll be heading out to basic and following this pipeline here in 2 months or so hopefully. You say you lost most your guys in special warfare prep to navigation?

Good luck to him! Tell him to keep that positive attitude during the schoolhouse.
@@tclarke7026 Thank you, will do!
How is he doing both?

That rifle looked like it was drowning! So much for keeping it dry😂
Hahah. They changed the standard. Weapon no longer needs to be out of the water.
Best military clip 👌
joining the airfare and really considering tacp as a job do they see combat?
same ngl im wondering the same thing
Yes they do
Badass
Do officers go through schoolhouse at the same time along enlisted how does that work
Yes they do. Officers go through an initial selection called TOPT. It’s a 5 day selection process in order to become an O. Assuming you’re selected then you go through the schoolhouse alongside the enlisted candidates. Officers are usually the team leads.
Class of Falcon 1.
"breakfast taco" lmao nice
breakfest taco

How many started vs finished? What was the biggest factor that dropped people?

There wasn’t one factor that really stands out. We lost a lot of guys to navigation during block 2 but we also lost people all along the way.
Cool thanks for the feee back!
@@tclarke7026 you get many guard guys in the pipeline? That’s the route I’m headed… switching from Army
