I'm working on a 56 plate NPR that the customer has changed the auto gearbox. Got no speedo/tacho operation. Is there a certain position the drive for the tacho needs to be fitted in to the gearbox to engage the bevel gear? Its a dustbin lorry with non standard tacho drive and when its bolted up, the drive can be turned by hand which is wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Hi, how do you permanently disable eco mode or ensure the truck starts in 1st gear everytime. We have 9 trucks, and we have suffered gearbox failures on all of these trucks due to this eco mode. Isuzu says we have to press eco mode everytime we start the truck. I cant relay on my drivers to do that..

Ive got 69reg and the gear change is so slow its actually a hazard even more so when Im towing a chipper and carrying woodchip. It changes gear so slow that once its done it the road speed has gone down so it changes back down to second and it happens all over again. I just take it out of eco and use the manual shift.
I did the reset and after the clanging in the transmission the nutral light did not come back up and now the truck can't go in any gear. How can I correct it
L0L clip it into the b d i read em you'll know which one it is there's two ofem wot ya connect! (out of 16 connections on the OBD plug) yeah but if short the live wire to the ground wire pop goes the fuse!

Hi, i have an Isuzu LT434P with AMT. The gearbox will randomly shift out of gear while moving, i.e suddenly the same warning light will show up on the dash, engine revs but vehicle isn't responding, causing me to be stuck in the middle of traffic. Had to shift to neutral and drive again for a few times for the gearbox to re-engage the gear. Had tried servicing the gearbox and even changing the fluids but the problem is still resurfacing. Any idea if your method will help? Thanks in advance
You can always try my method but if it keeps coming out of gear it could possibly be 1 of the 3 gear change cylinders on the side of the gearbox faulty
@@dannyandrew725 its always the 3rd gear that has this issue. It only happens to the 2nd or 4th gear a few times. But most of the time its the 3rd gear
Batteries were installed incorrect for about 10 seconds! Now only have first and reverse and not charging Code UO 101 loss compunction Any advice would be appreciated

There is a fuse but start it up and check the voltage coming out of the alternator 1st easiest way the fuse box behind the n/s wheel swap the 2 yellow relays and try your gears when you have swapped them
@@dannyandrew725 it had a code for this mode shifter I cleared the code and performed the reset procedure just as you instructed it went down to the last stage where the screen went blank for the shifter now it's stuck there not able to move the truck

Does your speedo work when you are driving? If not change the speedo and that should sort out your problem.

Check the wiring going to the fuse box behind the n/s/f wheel where it goes round the chassis sounds like a split wire

Yes if I remember was the shift solenoid. Need to clean them good with WD40.

No it won't when you do a relearn it's normally when you've replaced something or you have a slow gear change

889 is earth wire from tcm broken going to the fuse box on n/s outer fuse check wires near the fuse box where they go under the chassis

You could hook up a timer and relay to "press" it automatically whenever the vehicle is turned on.

If it has new parts fitted and sometimes its starts missing gears and so on so a reset now and again does no harm

You have to press the button and it will change to more milage
Batteries were installed incorrect for about 10 seconds! Now only have first and reverse and not charging

Also not charging batteries, probably fried the alternator. Is there a fuse anyway?
There is a fuse but start it up and check the voltage coming out of the alternator 1st easiest way the fuse box behind the n/s wheel swap the 2 yellow relays and try your gears when you have swapped them
That fixed the transmission, all gears working now!!
Still not charging , alternator is good ,
Fuses 27 to 33 are all good but don’t have any power
I performed this video now my vehicle will not go into Park Drive nothing at all shifter display blank
Why did you do it in the 1st place did it have a fault

@@dannyandrew725 it had a code for this mode shifter I cleared the code and performed the reset procedure just as you instructed it went down to the last stage where the screen went blank for the shifter now it's stuck there not able to move the truck
