Big fan of the egg cooker! Lol I never thought of only making 1 egg though. Usually I make a full batch and save for the week.
Also love to eat it with shredded Mexican cheese.
And yes I burned myself too, since then I use a tong with a soft grip at the end, to take off the lid and to grab the egg

As a professional orchestra musician who went to a lot of auditions in the last few years I realy feel the last part with the pianist in the audition! You never know what you get 😅 fingers crossed for a callback! :)
