Love and miss Dennis Pavao, but Kuana Torres Kahele is my favorite Hawaiian falsetto now. A beautiful and talented awesome Voice!..mahalo....and oh yes Te Hani beautiful and da best...
What he says about the seed, so true, that’s what happened to me. I grew up in New England, literally opposite side of the country…don’t have a drop of native blood in me. I had no exposure to (real) Hawaiian culture growing up. But hula and Hawaiian music reached me thanks to TH-cam. After I moved to Florida I started studying hula under a kumu in 2019, started studying ‘ōlelo last year. Changed my life. I try to share as much as I can about Hawaiian issues, so more of my friends know about the history and the struggles of native folks today. It’s never been ‘just’ dancing or making music for me, it’s about helping spread the culture even if it’s not my own.
Hula is part of my life since I was at young age. I attended hula workshops whenever I can so I can understand the culture better. Finally registered to attend another hula workshops towards the end of this year. Studied with at least a dozen Kumu hula everytime I get a chance. I am not Hawaiian but I love the beautiful culture. It always mesmerized me watching the hula. It brings me peace and love. I guess that is why it is always Aloha in Hawaii. Thank you for sharing your culture.

Absolutely beautiful. I don't know the Hawaiian words but I can feel love and passion. Then the ukele and sweet sounds of Hawaii it reminds me of my mom and it's my hometown. Thank you for this beautiful music 🎶🎶🎶
This music represents uniquely the true spirit of Aloha, to be found nowhere else in the world. Words cannot describe the spiritual power that radiates from "the Sacred Islands" Garry Gold Coast Australia.
