The Pedway was my biggest surprise. Who cares if it gets dark earlier in Chicago when the city lights at night are EVERYTHING! Love your videos Caira!!🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved this video. My son lives in Chicago and I love coming out to visit. I'll be there in April, the first time since Covid. I live in S Jersey and tell everyone how much it reminds me of our beaches. I love the dog beaches, the River Walk. So much fun. Met so many nice people. Joked with my son that I felt like a big girl the first time I took the train from the airport to his neighborhood by myself. Lol.

I watched your train video and soooo helpful! And you are right at first I was super nervous going with my kids and mom who were relying on me. But once I got there no issues at all! Did the train, the bus, didn’t get us lost once!

There is income tax but average salary is higher than most big cities so it's a wash in the end. Also, summer is not humid here compared to pretty much any city east of the Rockies--like even just south of here in St Louis it's way hotter and not even close to the South. The sunsets early because we sit on the further most eastern part of Central Time Zone (Nashville has the same sunset time almost as here).

Saw some of my comments featured lol... I posted about the sweet tea and soul food restaurants. I grew up mainly in the south (GA) and crave southern food. When I was in Chicago I looked for restaurants that had soul food menus, but there wasn't much. Love this video and love Chi!🔥

I’ve lived in the south side, little village area for 20+years and a city sticker is mandatory. Residential parking stickers for those who park near busy streets may be required.

I've been to Chicago many times. It's a beautiful place to visit. Crim^rte is bad. I spell it this way because yt filters out comments like this and sometimes the video creators bla¢k list. I'm from a rural town in West TN and raci$m/crlme is bad here. I've been as$aulted for dating a A. Am. woman for 4 years and treated poorly in TN. Don't do it. I wouldn't move there as a WM because I could seriously get deleted. I literally put up with raci$m my entire life in the south and it's not what the media says. Like it's just a 2019 fbi homo¢ide table search away. They stopped showing the data. I implore people to not be r@cist on any side. I just think people can be bad sometimes. Just move somewhere safe.

@@sierrajohnson7300 No, I am not wrong. I lived in Chicago for five years. My sister lived there 16 years. I think we know what people are like there. Probably you have never left Chicago, so your view is going to be biased. Chicago on the surface is NOT friendly. People seem to always be in a bad mood. Or, they are not trusting of people. Which I understand in big cities you don't know what is going to happen to you. Once people get to know you, they are a little bit better. But overall, they are always in a hurry and are rude.
