Thank you for changing my life. Like for real. I started with the Elden Ring stuff and now I’ve moved on to Elder Scrolls. I had no idea the ES lore is so interesting. Then outta nowhere you drop Halo. This one is definitely one of your. You’re doing so much good for folks out there so please have a (small) coffee on me
Halo has some of the most intriguing lore that most people don’t notice because in the games you’re just blasting aliens. Looking forward to more of these 🔥
@@DarkraiNewmoon that’s crazy to me because it has one of the best sci-fi stories ever told. Especially in the books. Master chief seems so stoic in the games but in the books he has very real human emotions that he bottles up and it’s what keeps him going
@@S0l0117 I play Halo for the story. Got my mother back into Halo via the novels. Now she's going through everything. Books, comics, the live action stuff, etc. I love this franchise and the joy it brings people.
So i just want to say thankyou. I have insomnia and i was watching your videos and i fell asleep. And I actually got some good rest. So I continued to just watch your videos until i fall asleep. And I’ve tried other ASMR type video and its not the same as your videos. I’ve been watching your videos for weeks now and now it is a necessity. So i thankyou and keep up the good work. Thankyou for the lore and the help. We appreciate you.
I adore these videos. I love video game plot and these are perfect for letting my mind drift comfortably to sleep. I hope you keep making them, you are so very very appreciated
This is the part of Halo I really loved. The Forerunner Trilogy are some of my favorite books ever and it makes me sad that the Reclaimer Saga and Halo in general never got its chance to truly bring their plot threads to fruition.
Good evening. Can you please do a sleep lore video for the story of Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion please. No video on TH-cam is as well done as your dark souls and elden ring ones.
@@DarkraiNewmoon those terminals were written by one guy. plus the whole covenant having a religious falling out makes more sense if the forerunners were human. doesnt matter anyway 343 killed the franchise
@@FonzieKree The Terminals in Halo 3 were the first look we had into the Forerunner-Flood War 100,000 years before the games. They told the story of the Librarian and Didact sending messages back and fore to each other over centuries. (Forerunners live thousands of years) They end with the Forerunners creating the Halo Array and firing them. The Librarian is stuck on Earth with the portal to the Ark. She's trapped on Earth with the indexed humans who she describes as precious. This was our first look into the Forerunners. This story in the terminals would be the basis for the lore going forward, starting in Halo Evolutions in 2009, and the Forerunner Saga in 2010. The terminals continued the story of the Iris ARG that was used to promote Halo 3 back in 2008. The Cradle of Light, which was a comic released in 2008 and part of the Iris ARG had ancient humans watch as the Forerunenrs build the Ark Portal on Earth. Everything was approved and vetted by Bungie, considering a dozen people worked on the Terminals including Frank O'Connor, Damian Isla, Robert McLees, Rob Stokes, Paul Bertone, Jaime Griesemer, Jason Jones, and maybe more. For Iris it was written by Frank O'Connor with help from Brian Jarrard and Aaron LeMay. Nothing is different as this was straight from Bungie and the first stuff we ever got and what we've had since. Really interesting rabbit holes to go down. I remember being fascinated by the Terminals as a kid, and then later finding the Forerunner Saga books I was hooked on Halo Lore. I know people who don't know that Halo has a story despite playing most of the games or just don't bother and go to multiplayer.

I love your videos! But sadly the add keep awaking me 😔
"cleep"
It would be absolutely brilliant for gettin 2 sleep, if it wasn't 4 the loud adverts, blaring out every few mins, as in every 4-5 min... 🙁🙁🙁

havent watched but i hope its the REAL lore (forerunners were human) and not the cringe 343 lore
Halo 3's terminals have both humans and forerunners separate. Plus the ARG promoting Halo 3 had them as separate beings.

how different is the lore? I am new to halo, but i am getting close to finish Halo 3 and am sucking the lore so far

Do you have plans of explaining the storylines of like older, forgotten games like the old Doom, or Metroid?
