That "update" was a blast. Both those trainers, Bob and Art and awesome in what they do WITH their horses. I got a kick out of the two together and Bob had his arm around Art and Art's showing some muscle. LOL I mean these trainers are such FUN people. Of course they want their horse to win. BUT respect each others horse too. This Pegasus will be one heck of a thrilling nail biting race. I'm all FOR Chrome winning this one on his way out to Retire and he is MY BOY I've followed since he was a 2yr old.... but to tell you the truth......Both are Awesome athletes. We SEE how many lengths they were in front. Chrome can do that easily.......then to see this new guy on the block, young kid........come in and Chrome is 12lengths in front and here comes Arrogate. My jaw dropped open when Arro passed CC in the BCC and I stayed that way for like ten minutes. LOL . Kudo's to Chrome , he ran another awesome race BUT this new kid on the block came up and passed CC. WOW. Now THAT is one heck of a talented Athlete. AND he should be applauded. I say good luck to BOTH Chrome and Arrogate. BOTH will do what they obviously love to do....and may the best "man" Saturday win. Meanwhile I'm imagining there will be another whole race going on way back there with the other 10 horses and good luck to them too. I just hope everybody has a SAFE race and none of the fans FIGHT. I'm crossing my fingers for Chrome BUT will Applaud Arrogate if he wins. I mean , How can you NOT appreciate him. Even if he doesn't win. HE will win for the rest of this year with our Boy Chrome retiring. Hey, all I can say to Team Arrogate is ENJOY him. Have fun. AND........GO CHROME! You'll hear us all cheering you on. We have a plane full of Chromies taking off SOON heading to Florida! Good luck to All of them Saturday. STAY SAFE.
Chrome is great but I ‘m an Arrogate fan and mourn his premature loss hope his offspring inherit some of his speed and stamina will be cheering for the gray and Mr. Smith 😬
I love Chrome and hope he takes this as his final race. However, I have nothing but respect for Arrogate and his amazing talent. Arrogate should dominate in the future of his career. Should be a great race!

K Schlg Horse racing is about overbreeding and the 90% of thoroughbreds who don't make it to the track mostly have a horrible ending in the slaughter pipeline. Arrogate is a magnificent animal. But even Kentucky Derby winners who end up in Japan are slaughtered when they are no longer useful.
+Maggie Robbins your absolutely right, when i made my comment, i was referring to horse racing like this, horses like this every horse trainer and owners dream to ever get horses of this caliber, including me? but your right in the case of sunday silence blacktieaffair and countless others almost ended up in the slaughter house in japan, thank you for caring👏

Chrome's draw to the extreme outside is an extremely unlucky thing especially with Arrogate getting sent early from the extreme inside making it a fast first turn into the back stretch. But maybe Chrome's grit and experience will help him get through and poke a nose in front. I know one thing, this will be the race of the Decade. Period. I'm pulling for Chrome, but I know too well Arrogate is a presence that can absolutely not be ignored. This is Chrome's last start and Victor and Art will not be afraid to push Chrome to his limit or even past it to keep Chrome's reputation! Chrome knows that's his purpose; To win. Plus, to the breeders, this will sky rocket his breeding rights if he wins.
Neither of them could get damaged Reputations. They're too good. AND what they've won in the past.....they keep. I'm hoping Chrome gets it done too....BUT won't be surprised at all if Arrogate does it first. LOL Actually, he reminds me of Chrome when he was 3yrs old. Sassy boy. :) I just hope they ALL have a safe run.

I would have love to see these two run against SeattleSlew and Spectacular Bid. Everybody is always about the newest thing. Arrogate is not one of the all time greats. Maybe top 5 of this century.
Arrogate has a very low center of gravity (he runs closer to the ground) and this is his supreme advantage. Once this grey gets his cues... he's a beast. He would have given A.P. all he could handle and then some. A.P. was super smooth, but Arrogate runs like a machine once he gets a target to run at.
Chrome has to go and will run 2nd if Arrogate breaks cleanly. Smith is in Victor's head from the two moves he put on him in the BCC. First he sneaked inside... then he went around him... like a machine. Chrome's only hope is that Arrogate is a little "short," but; he doesn't look like it to me
I don't see how he loses out of the #1 hole. This should be just like his Travers... if he breaks.

Heavy speed bias at Gulfstream. The outside post works out for Chrome. Doesn't need to hurry as much and he'll have a target to run at. My only concern for CC is if he's drifted out very wide in turn one and Victor now thinks he's got to let Chrome run early which could be bad.
Even though I think Chrome goes out a winner in his last race. I'll be routing for him!
Is there some way this can be edited to reduce the number of times it jumps back and forth between dialogue and race videos? When it goes to the race videos, the volume goes up, and it really distracts from the content that the individual people are talking about.
California Chrome NOT A DISTANCE HORSE. Just watch His Belmont performance... His strides angle also not so impressive. But yes, he IS FAST. But.. Not enough to beat Arrogate. Miss him. RIP ARROGATE.. 😭😭😭

Espinoza blew it absolutely in the Breeders Cup. But Chrome should not have raced in the Pegasus. They should've rested him longer then go to the Dubai World Cup at the end of March 2017. And surely wouldve won his second World Cup.
Read em and weep boys, Chrome is up against too much, and some of the smartest jockeys, on his inside, their main goal is to push Chrome wide. They know how good he is, and they have to get an advantage anyway they can. But, that still doesn't eliminate Arrogate, who will win over a surprising. Breaking Lucky, Shaman Ghost, Chrome, Keen Ice or Neolithic. And, for an upset, use 7&10 on top.

Also what about taking out the music backtrack? I find that really annoying quite frankly. I'm trying to take it what these guys are saying, people I really admire and appreciate, and yet there's this music playing in the background, as though without the music we'd all fall asleep!

Real Pacificus Don't forget how Coburn embarrassed himself after CC loss in the Belmont and wanted the rules to change. And the pathetic Chromies agreed with him, that's when I started rooting against Chrome.

CC was a d*mn good horse, sure, but don't even attempt to argue that he can be categorized alongside Kincsem, The Tetrarch, Man O' War, Dr. Fager, Native Dancer, Native Diver, Northern Dancer, Citation, Seattle Slew, Equipoise, Tom Fool, Count Fleet, Sunline, Swaps, Cigar, Dubai Millennium, Exterminator, Ruffian, Spectacular Bid, Buckpasser, Whirlaway, Lady's Secret, American Pharoah, Kelso, Zenyatta, Phar Lap, Secretariat, Personal Ensign, Genuine Risk, Exceller, Arts and Letters, Nashua, Forego, Winx, Holy Bull, Skip Away, Rachel Alexandra, Bricks and Mortar, John Henry, Gamely, Ta Wee, Shuvee, Discovery, Affirmed, Alydar, Sunday Silence, Easy Goer, War Admiral, Seabisquit, Bold Ruler, Riva Ridge, Slew O' Gold, Sysonby, Stymie, Round Table, Busher, and the list goes on and on. Considering Arrogate broke the Travers record and Saratoga track record, defeated CC twice in two highly prestigious races back to back, and then went on to not only win the MOST prestigious/richest dirt race worldwide (at the time) and did so in a seemingly impossible way but also became the richest racehorse that has ever existed and still holds that title, he deserves to be considered a part of the GOAT category.
...And the best horse he has ever ridden? Espinoza seems to have forgotten about the horse who ended the 37 year Triple Crown drought (just one year after CC failed to accomplish the task) and then went on to become the only horse to win the Grand Slam of U.S. horse racing.
Also, Chrome didn't finish second in the BCC because of jockey error. Espinoza never stopped urging him onwards and very clearly used the crop as well. No, he wasn't unaware of Arrogate surging up on his outside because Victor just as clearly glanced back and seen him coming. CC finished second because he was second best.
Lastly, as we all know, the next time that Arrogate and Chrome met, the story was most certainly NOT different...At least not in the way that Victor intended it to be. Chrome finished even further behind A than he did in the BCC...And as for his comment about Chrome being the richest horse in America...What is the title of richest horse in America when compared to the title of richest horse on the planet?
As I have already said, Chrome was a good horse who did some amazing things during his career. The way Espinoza speaks here is just high key irritating. He's either daft or talking out of his a** for content purposes.
