I've grown up watching documentaries on Africa explaining this. But you explain it like you live next door, and its more interesting and means more when you explain it.
It's remarkable how similar the dung beetles in South Africa to the dung beetles here in Poland, 9000km away. Apart from the size difference, I can easily tell that's a dung beetle from the construction of its shell and especially its legs and how it moves.
maybe its just me but His English is so good for a non native speaker like my self, its co clear to understand I wish many native speakers take lessons from him how to speak their won language :)
I grew up in rural Tennessee in the southern US and we have a dung beetle there as well. Sometimes we could see them rolling a ball of dung, pushing it from one place to another, and we would follow it to see where it's going.
So many people are in absolute love with this man and he don't even know it, and they keep it quiet...I demand live classes! I need a hug from the teacher!
Wherever you are watching from. Thank you for your positive comments and appreciation of African wild life. Stay in Peace, love and harmony South Africa 🇿🇦 loves all of you
Hey :) I'd love to see move videos on local wildlife, not just the big stuff but more stuff like this, the insects, birds etc! Another great video, all the best :)
Subscribed. Your lessons are SO interesting, and I find myself being so excited for all the new videos and going straight to the next. Wonderful job, Sakhile and Safari and Surf team!
so... I live in Arizona and New Mexico.. desert and mountains... I found a small carving of a dung beetle... the university museum curator told me it was a trade bead from the Aztec or Mayans.. but it looked like the African dung beetle... a friend told me the Apache had a burial ground along the stream... I don't know... it was maybe 2cm long... 15mm wide... about the same size as the one you showed us... white stone.. very hard... and a hole for a thong or something all the way through.. head to tail... very curious
