He is very talented and the song is actually good, but in my opinion the staging was terrible in the National Final. If the staging is upgraded in the Eurovision, he can go to the final.
Yeah, almost all performers wear makeup, not only when being on stage but also when being in front of the cameras, like for an interview. Men use makeup for the same reason women do. Even male TV presenters wear makeup, even if you can't notice it! Theodor has a theatre background, and actors have used makeup in the theatre for a long time. Not that he needs it, being only 18, his all natural face is perfect. But you know, makeup is a standard in the industry, and performers are expected to wear it.
