I remembered my sisters penpal, from west germany, bought as 2 pairs of adidas shoes, rom, made in west germany and zurich, made in yugoslavia. Thru mail, that was year 1970's. So happy it didn't get stolen. Where like stars wearing them. We lived in a small city, name san carlos, neg. Occ. Philippines. The quality and craftmanship way then were very good. Not like today, not very comfortable to where any more. And asian made.
