Man, I love Topps Chrome just like everyone else but that was a rough couple of boxes. My LCS somehow had a great deal on hobbies for $250 (although most other products are slightly marked up) so I scooped one up and my best cards were a Manoah /499 auto, Vilade magenta /399 & Marsh orange /25 parallels. I appreciate the tips on waiting to see if the Jumbo's drop in price, because I sure don't want to pay $600 for a possible box of duds.
Pretty expensive for what you get. Like any Topps product, there's just 1-2 boxes per case that yields your ROI back. Thanks for sharing your preview video

Topps chrome is about the nicest cards there is …. The first box I bought I sleeved all of them with top loader…. They’re just really beautiful….. thank jabs!!!!!!!

You mentioned that there is no J Rod or Bobby Whitt or Spencer T but then said as opening first pack it would be nice to get a J Rod auto so lil confused is there a chance for a J Rod Rookie in this set? Thanks
Just got a bunch of the GPK chrome. Majority had the roller marks on them. Pretty crappy. The Mark can be cleaned off pretty easy but what the heck??!! 😡🤬

Not sure if this will sway your opinion, I snagged a jumbo and got 4 non-numbered autos. And they forgot to include the 5th. Seems like a lot of tough rips for Jumbo this year but who knows.
These chrome hobby boxes that initially hit the market at 330-360 can now get them at 160 bucks! Wow . Massive drop. Figured at that price point I'll grab a couple..
I definitely will not be purchasing any Topps Chrome but this video certainly helped me see what it had to offer. Ill patiently wait for my Topps Fire Hobbys and be content with that money spent. Thanks for the great video!

The more the price drops, the more I like Chrome, lol.... my local LCS has the jumbos at $550 and the hobby's at $275.... I'm still going to wait and see.... $35 for a blaster seems right at the edge of where I'd like.... when I saw the blasters pre-selling for $60+ I wondered with dread at what the release price might be.... seem acceptable. After I while I started busting boxes of chrome and it was so exciting. But for $120 box of hobby chrome I felt the value was worth it. Now, for $900? Or $600? Or even $500? Hell no. You could get a case of chrome for those prices a likely get a superfractor.
Good looking product besides the printing mistakes. I hope this isn't a trend we see with Fanatics. I like the inserts. The Art Deco one reminds me of some of the buildings you'll see at Kennywood Park.
ive seen a 2 case break of jumbos , each case had 2 numbered cards(there should be 4 or so in each box at very least) 8 of the 10 autos you could find in a card show 1.00 box in about a year
If Topps is going to charge this much for boxes then there should be an expectation for high quality control. Print lines and indentations on the cards should not be happening.

In my opinion Topps already had some of the hobby and jumbo product printed first. Then they delayed release of the overall product to add the SP's. So the first product hitting the market won't have those SP's that everyone wants. I think we will see more SP pulls out of retail and later print runs.
With my assumption double this price. Because it'll have the rookies everyone is chasing and if I'm not mistaken fanatics fully takes over next year so it'll be topps last big money grab

Nice looking inserts but underwhelming autos and high price tag makes this a pass for me. I’ll probably just pick up the sweet looking Pete Alonso Heart of the City insert for a dollar off of eBay (Let’s go Mets!) and call it a day on this product. If the price plummets in a month or two, as I expect it may, then I might reconsider. I’ll try a few blaster boxes if by some wonder I come across them in the wild at Target.

I got a jumbo box of chrome for $500 plus tax. The hobby store in my area as a preferred customer program. Sweet deals!

Found chrome blasters at my target today. Pulled 87 Wander rc and Freddy Perelta auto /299. And a few cool pink refractors.
