So did Taylor actually intend to reunite with Ridge _without ever telling him about her marriage to Omar?_ Why else would she pretend never to have seen him before in front of Ridge? She apparently had no intention of telling Ridge the whole story. Now we have Brooke intending to hide the truth from Ridge about Taylor indefinitely, and Taylor intending to hide the truth from Ridge about Omar indefinitely. They are truly as bad as each other in this storyline, and neither of them really comes across as fully deserving of the "prize" (assuming Ridge actually is a prize, which in itself is debatable).
I don't know if she meant to hide it indefinitely. This sounds like yet another silly "now is not the right time" moment for Taylor. By now she should know that putting things off result in disaster for her. If I were her, I was going to turn around and say.. Hello Prince Omar, nice to see you again. And introduce Ridge to the man who held her as a prisoner while he was at the palace. And let the conversation go from there.

@@MrCraigblaze I do like Sheila Carter as a character but the 1994-1995 storyline was drawn out WAY too long. 1992-1993 had great build up with Sheila and the Forresters but once 1994 came, it gradually slowed down. Now, I’m curious how Maggie gets in the picture, but that’ll be season 9. Then I want to see 1997-1998 Sheila plus her 2002-2003 appearances.
At least Taylor is willing to sit and discuss the situation together with Brooke. Unlike Brooke, whose solution is to run Taylor out of town and keep her a secret from Ridge for as long as she feels like.
But there isn't really that much of a difference - Taylor wasn't planning on sitting down and discussing the situation _with Omar,_ and was probably hoping he would never show up in town.
Let's not forget that Brooke is still the same l ow li fe from Season 2, who after finding out that her father is alive and meeting him, was still going along with Storm 's plan to declare him legally 💀. Not to mention that their grandma was deeply upset by the idea and was going to live the rest of her life accepting that her son was gone forever, just so that Beth could marry a man with money!
It's true to Taylor's character to be fair and rational but why is she treating this like a team project? "Me, you and Brooke can work this out." Uh NO Taylor this is a war -- only one of you can win Ridge. This is B&B, not Big Love.
And this is an episode, when I would have expected more surprise and outrage. After 3 years, Eric finally learns from his friend Lauren, that his wife Sheila is a criminal, who would be arrested if the police in Genoa City didn't believe Sheila to have died in a fire. Even when Sheila is obviously dangerous and has kidnapped Lauren's and Scott's baby, these two have not said a word, when they and Eric and Sheila spent some days on Catalina Island (and Scott died).
I have to say, if someone didn't know what it is going to happen, they would think that James is having a lot of "fun" with Sheila. The thumbnail is gross!
Lol, child, everyone enters everywhere in the B&B world looking a mess and or announced. They also live around the corner from each other. How else can you explain the breakneck speed people get from airports and houses in LA traffic.
After several years, Stephanie and Eric finally learn the truth about Sheilas past from Lauren - and should wonder why Lauren hasn't told them years before, when Eric had married Sheila in 1993. (... she kidnapped my baby.... she held me and her mother at gunpoint...) Ridge in the future too should wonder why Taylor and Omar have pretended in his office to not know each other.
finally James is free and everybody knows the truth about Sheila and how crazy and cruel she really is the amazing thing that she could think James loves her after all she has done to him she is dangerous
Stephanie, I love you but I am once again forced to ask you *why* you can take time to rescue everyone, even that drip James Warrick, and yet she still lets poor Thorne languish in jail?!
So much to unpack. Ridge is looking at Taylor like she's nuts, and in a way, she kinda is. She needed to be straightforward with him. He is over the shock of her return; therefore, it is time to give him the whole story and let him decide. Poorly written but fabulously soapy. I can smell Omar's Villain cologne from my computer screen. Prince Blue Balls needs to get a clue. She's not that into you, my man! He belongs with Sheila. He's wealthy. She'd have power over all she surveyed. The orphan minions would do her bidding to take over the world. It writes itself. Eric is an idiot. Let's not call the police. Let's go over there to confront a crazy person capable of murder. First of all, Stephanie is not wearing sensible shoes. Shiela being put in the trap is the moment she falls in love with James. No man had ever gotten the better of her mentally and physically. The only thing missing was Hard Rock Cafe Ahmed. Please tell me he went to Hollywood Planet. Oh, I forgot, horny Lauren. @@laurastrobel718, I think that's his look for women who aren't his wife. He made that face at Brooke during her days, looking through his windows, begging him to fulfill their destiny or something.

Taylor has two husbands and Ridge has two wives... An episode for the comedy and drama lovers...LOL
Yes something for everyone 😂 Omar really is male Brooke, trying to bully and order Taylor around. And calling Taylor a home wrecker?? He and Brooke are both delusional. If I were Taylor I wasnt going back to any hotel where he can potentially kidnap me again. She should tell Omar: Fine, go ahead and tell Ridge when he gets back.. In fact, let's tell him the whole story from that start. I'm sure Ridge would be interested to know how you tricked him into coming to Morocco... Omar is on TAYLOR'S home turf.. Omar: and now you (ridge)have a FRIEND named Taylor. (Not a wife) Perhaps it’s FATE. Omar letting Taylor know she is only Ridge’s friend since he’s married to Brooke and he to her. Very wolfy behavior.
And the game of *pretend/keep the secret* continues: Ridge keeps his *not dead* wife a secret from Brooke, his parents and Omar (this is my very good friend Taylor). Taylor and Omar pretend to not know each other and keep their marriage a secret. Taylor also hasn't told Ridge that Brooke and Stephanie already know that Taylor is alive. Stephanie and Brooke have kept Taylor being alive a secret from Ridge. I am just waiting for Ridge to find out how ridiculous they all have acted by pretending that all is well and not mentioning their interactions, what big charade they have played.
Ridge still has not told his _wife_ Brooke about his _wife_ Taylor being back, but he doesn't worry that Omar might mention his _good friend_ Taylor to Brooke?
Exactly. I mean we know why Brooke didn’t tell ridge, but you would think his dead wife coming to the door while Brooke is upstairs and conveniently leaving before she comes down is definitely something that would have been mentioned. Even that whole thing with Taylor randomly coming to his house when she knows Brooke is probably there, and then saying “now is not the time to explain where I’ve been. I have to leave now” makes no sense because what was the point of even going over there?
@@lil_jon411 So many unbelievable actions in the script concerning Taylor and her behavior. Obviously, the writers aren’t big on logic? I think they are creating a new persona for Taylor? She really is all over the place in her reasoning. She’s come full circle from worrying about causing harm to Ridge…to overwhelming him by showing up to take him away from Brooke after so long an absence? And acting like “no big deal”? 🤷♀️ Weird scenes today when Ridge says to Omar…I want you to meet someone. Omar meets his wife(Layla). Clueless Ridge pretends she is a friend. Omar asks her name…and she says Taylor. LOL 😂 Ridge being the only one in the dark…as to the true nature of this encounter…how will Taylor explain this to Ridge? 🤷♀️
Taylor keeps digging a hole for herself. This would have been a chance to come clean and explain she was held captive. But by lying she is playing Ridge for a fool.
Apparently, the held captive part has been swept under the rug? Will that be part of Taylor’s story to Ridge? I think it’s going to be she gave Ridge up for Brooke and the children(spoiler)….and Ridge will see Taylor as being Selfless for him? But then there will be the reckoning of Taylor deciding to marry Omar…that I imagine will not set well with Ridge? Taylor is acting so matter of fact about her dilemma…”we can all sit down and talk solutions”….you, me and Brooke. How about Omar? 🫤

I had to watch that episode again. It is kinda funny how Ridge first had been the *_active_* part - telling Omar to stay and Ridge introducing his good friend - and then Ridge's role turned *_so passive_* and Ridge only got to watch Omar and Taylor's exchange - except when Omar explicitly asked Ridge (Wasn't that the name of your deceased wife? ... I am sure Ridge will tell you how happy they are, isn't that so, Ridge?) Ridge's answers are very monosyllabic and he never steers the talk to a less complicated topic, didn't even take advantage of Taylor's suggestion that she leaves to let them discuss things in private - and instead Ridge later asked Taylor to entertain Omar while Ridge had to leave.

@@TriniT21 exactly. There is no good reason to hide this from Ridge as she can't really expect Omar to stay quiet about it (not to mention that it's bound to come out once they start the legal proceedings to determine which of Ridge's marriages is valid).

James can barely fight a girl 😆

Though, to be fair, referring to Sheila Carter as "a girl" is kind of like calling Stephanie Forrester "a little old lady". 😂
Exactly:)
James is not skilled at hand to hand combat. He practices psychological warfare and not very successfully.
Sheila could have taken that knife from him so easily lol.
How did he get her into that contraption without knocking her out first? No way he could get her in there awake and kicking and screaming.. First of all, with Sheila's crazy strength, he would need 2 hands and he'd have to put down the knife... Lol.
Sheila must be thinking.. D@mn... Shouldn't have fed him all that protein and given him all this strength 😂
@@TriniT21 I think in a few episodes we'll understand how he got her into that contraption so easily... 😉

Sheila probably _wanted_ him to put her in that contraption because unlike James, Sheila knew how to get _out_ of it.

I love how Taylor tells Omar her name. SAY IT WITH ME OMAR... T-A-Y-L-O-R

That was so silly for Eric to ask Lauren to tell James everything she knows about Sheila….wouldn’t you want it straight from the horses mouth instead via James 😲🤔

@@NewYorkNick0607 this is Flavor of Love with Flava Flav. I didn't see New York trying to "talk things out" together with Hoops 😂😂

The thumbnail is gross!
so how did James enter Forresters looking like this? lol
Lol, child, everyone enters everywhere in the B&B world looking a mess and or announced. They also live around the corner from each other. How else can you explain the breakneck speed people get from airports and houses in LA traffic.

Ridge in the future too should wonder why Taylor and Omar have pretended in his office to not know each other.

Taylor and Omar pretend to not know each other and keep their marriage a secret. Taylor also hasn't told Ridge that Brooke and Stephanie already know that Taylor is alive. Stephanie and Brooke have kept Taylor being alive a secret from Ridge.

So many unbelievable actions in the script concerning Taylor and her behavior. 🤷♀️
Weird scenes today when Ridge says to Omar…I want you to meet someone. Omar meets his wife(Layla). Clueless Ridge pretends she is a friend. Omar asks her name…and she says Taylor. LOL 😂
Ridge being the only one in the dark…as to the true nature of this encounter…how will Taylor explain this to Ridge?

Taylor is busted
I had to watch that episode again. It is kinda funny how Ridge first had been the *_active_* part - telling Omar to stay and Ridge introducing his good friend - and then Ridge's role turned *_so passive_* and Ridge only got to watch Omar and Taylor's exchange - except when Omar explicitly asked Ridge (Wasn't that the name of your deceased wife? ... I am sure Ridge will tell you how happy they are, isn't that so, Ridge?)
Ridge's answers are very monosyllabic and he never steers the talk to a less complicated topic, didn't even take advantage of Taylor's suggestion that she leaves to let them discuss things in private - and instead Ridge later asked Taylor to entertain Omar while Ridge had to leave.
Omar to the rescue again with Taylor 😄😄😄
