As a dancer who competes a lot, I'm so confused with the judging. This had everything, skills, technique, control over the power of the moves and even a great concept. It's not just a dance routine, it's a whole art performance with a tangible story in it. And this is coming from a Stay, I accepted already before the announcement that this performance is something that can't be won over.

Right? I'm a STAY too and I'm really obsessed with the Mayfly dance performance (I still can't get over it honestly lol) but I really think that they deserve it as well. The concept, their skills and dancing! And they really focused on dancing which is very good considering the criteria. I would've voted for them honestly.

I love how ikon-tbz-sf9 didn’t implement a typical idol dance group , instead they thought out of the box and made this extraordinary historical dance. BRAVO!!

the fact that team B decided to be gone with all idol standards is really a beautiful thing. this was an amazing piece of art that should be seen in a theater not on an idol stage...

Yes I total agree. As a person who knows most of these groups really well I knew that all of them were going to do amazing. I know that they want to win and it’s understandable but I’m just here for the performances at this point

이 무대가 진짜 대박인게 연산군이 어머니를 잃고 미쳐가는 과정을 세 개의 자아로 나눠서 표현한다는 아이디어 자체가 미쳤고 나 같은 역사덕후의 마음을 울렸음.. 기존의 한국스러운(한복입은) 아이돌 무대와는 다른게 당시 역사적 사실을 바탕으로 연산군의 감정을 해석해서 표현한 예술작품 느낌임.. 대취타는 랩으로 표현했다면(광해군) 왕과비는 춤으로 표현했고 연출, 안무, 연기 -> 감정전달이 완벽했다고 생각함 진짜 이런 무대는 더 알려져야 하는데ㅠㅠ 작명도 너무 멋졌다

Amazed me how they were able to create an entire PLOT from a 4 minute performance. No lyrics to tell you the story. Just pure movement. Truly had tears in my eyes at one point from the different range of emotions this performance put me through. It really does leave a lingering feeling once it's over
It’s too crumb and short to fit the entire history into a 4 min dance. Storytelling is messy and dance is chaotic. Couldn’t even portray the characters well

I just realize they not only portray the life of King Yeonsan-gun but also portray the 4 phases of his grief over his mother's death. Man, this is totally a masterpiece.
I'm glad this team went for a different style or concept from what is commonly expected by boy groups. Win or lose, they showcased their versatility here and the way everything was put together (dance moves, storyline, facial expressions, instrumental music) was impressive. To me this is something I would literally pay for to watch
This team doesn't have a intense choreography than the others. but you will know that this dance represent the concept and that's why it's more elegant and you just feel goosebumps and said "beautiful"
It is easier to dance fast and aggressive than slow and controlled. Team B did an amazing job and displayed range and depth. I think most dancers who are classically trained will appreciate this performance!

Edit :They're actually represent one person that is a king (Yeonsangun of Joseon era) who lost his mother. They showed different lingering feelings between egos : Taeyang went out fight to death (tyrant), Juyeon drowned his grief (loneliness) and DK lost his senses (madness). They showed sadness and longing for the mother. My previous interpretation was how the dance spoke to me. This is how the dance should be. It can spoke to us indirectly even pierce our hearts with emotions. Credit also to @Gly that helped me translate this art.
If i wasnt a fantasy and just a random normal viewer who happen to pass by and watched this, i’ll totally think that this 3 were a group of experienced choreographers or dancers. Totally loving this dance concept and the story they’re showing
Sf9, Ikon and Tbz showed us a dance performance that you can't see every day, something different than usual. I think the three of them see the dance in a more artistic way, not just to entertain.

Actually all the artist are having fun and doesn't mind the ranking. It is only the feeling "expert fans" cares about the rank. What matter's most is they gained friendship and enjoy the show. Fanboying and supporting each other's performance is full of love.
Honestly I don't care who wins anymore I'm just here to watch iKON's free concert and see them make friends. Like what GD said in W.I.N iKON (Team B) is already good no need to prove it just enjoy the stage.
진짜 1차 경연 싹 다 진거 이거 맞나 싶었다,,,^^ ㄹㅇ적은 암넷임ㅂㄷㅂㄷ팀끼리도 경쟁 붙여놓고 그걸로도 모자라서 유닛으로 대결까지 시키고 누구 한명이 실수하게 되서 무개념 팬들이 욕하면 그런거 듣는 아티스트들이나 그런 상황을 보면 맴찢어질 팬들이나 그런거 진짜 하나도 신경 안쓰는거같음ㅠㅠ 이번 무대 진짜 태양님도 동혁님도 우리 쭈요도 진짜 너무 잘했는데ㅠㅠ 한편의 소설을 뮤지컬로 본 줄 알았다구요ㅠㅠ 기승전결 딱딱 완벽하고 1명이지만 3개의 자아를 표현한게 너무 소름돋았었는데.. 나만 댄스팀은 무조건 이길거라거 생각했나...ㅠㅠ
As a former traditional dancer, I'm really proud of them. There are still youngsters who care about preserving tradition and cultural heritage. I don't stan their respective groups but I really love this stage! I'm a huge fan of historical dramas, and this stage represents the grandeur of the Korean culture

Objectively speaking (since I'm actually stan BTOB), I do think It's one the one actually deserve to win the rap and dance round.. not talking that my idol didn't work hard on their performance too.. but I really understand why people upset with the result.. but in the end, everyone just did their best for their fans, now as their fans we should work hard to appreciate their work

I'm honestly not surprise why this video has low views. Fewer people really appreciate contemporary style. People are more on to aggressive dance than classical art performances. I firsthand experience it so I'm not surprise. It's just sad that very few appreciate this. This is not just a dance performance this is storytelling, cultural rep. and a masterpiece. This performance was so magical like it took us back to where the dynasty was made and so epic like they use their dance to make a full statement and give stories that's what dance is in life
If you think about it, these 3 groups (ikon, sf9 and tbz), you can tell their focus is so different. I mean, this one unit, the three of them are dancers, not just because they know how to dance (technically they are just amazing) but because they are, individually, really passionate about dancing and they work hard to have their own styles. And that’s what they tried to show: a detailed choreography, actual dancing moves. This performance was in a level you can only see with professionals, in theaters. This is what a dancer would do. It was just artistically superior and it had zero unnecessary parts. I'm so much in love with this.

Sorry, but people ranking this as thumbs down are either spiteful or artistically not up to par. This would easily win an Emmy in the U.S.

I think it depends on the performance. To represent this concept the three of them were perfect and for team A’s concept’s representation needs more people and energy for the perfect outcome. Both the teams gave their best. And it’s not a bad thing to include all the members in the performance (in fact i appreciate it, cause competition or not, these stages are gonna remain forever as the groups’ talents) They’re professionals and they definitely know what they’re doing. ✨

It genuinely saddens me that there’s a low chance of this stage winning when it did what it was asked and gave even more, they focused solely on dance and told a story without uttering a word, maybe it’s because I dance too or because I am being biased but for me this was the most beautiful stage
I agree. Though, I’m not a dancer, I can feel the emotions they wanted us to feel and the storyline is quite clear. In terms of vi3ws and global votes, I’m sure Team B will not win unless the whole fandoms of each group unite and other external groups will support. But, I am still hoping for the best for these 3 groups.

It's One team are are not idols anymore they are artists. They expressed what they want and created an art. The rap unit didn't care about winning they just want to express. The dance unit made a performance that is memorable and gives you a lingering feeling. I want to commend them for their boldness. It's One you're the best.

Originality wasn't stated as one of the criteria though. Yes, this performance was beautiful. But this comes down to personal taste. This performance was captivating. But Mayfly's performance drew excitement. So which will the judges prefer? I do not believe this performance is inferior to Mayfly's, but I prefer Mayfly's because the spectacle, dance moves, and facial expressions made my eyes widen, whereas IT'S ONE's had me hypnotised instead.
I'm a Stay but I hope this performance will win the Dance round. The musicality, the concept, and the performance are so beautiful. Their chemistry is no joke and they're great dancers.

This is such an emotional piece and the boys did a goodass job in portraying the story through their dance and facial expressions. This doesn't have an intense choreography and doesn't have stunts, but it's powerful in itself.
But you know how it is. It’s all about stunts in this show. I’m already upset about the result of the rapping round and I have a feeling they didn’t win this either.

이 무대가 진짜 대박인게 연산군이 어머니를 잃고 미쳐가는 과정을 세 개의 자아로 나눠서 표현한다는 아이디어 자체가 미쳤고 나 같은 역사덕후의 마음을 울렸음.. 기존의 한국스러운(한복입은) 아이돌 무대와는 다른게 당시 역사적 사실을 바탕으로 연산군의 감정을 해석해서 표현한 예술작품 느낌임.. 대취타는 랩으로 표현했다면(광해군) 왕과비는 춤으로 표현했고 연출, 안무, 연기 -> 감정전달이 완벽했다고 생각함 진짜 이런 무대는 더 알려져야 하는데ㅠㅠ 작명도 너무 멋졌다

Amazed me how they were able to create an entire PLOT from a 4 minute performance. No lyrics to tell you the story. Just pure movement. Truly had tears in my eyes at one point from the different range of emotions this performance put me through. It really does leave a lingering feeling once it's over

I just realize they not only portray the life of King Yeonsan-gun but also portray the 4 phases of his grief over his mother's death. Man, this is totally a masterpiece.
I'm glad this team went for a different style or concept from what is commonly expected by boy groups. Win or lose, they showcased their versatility here and the way everything was put together (dance moves, storyline, facial expressions, instrumental music) was impressive. To me this is something I would literally pay for to watch

This team doesn't have a intense choreography than the others. but you will know that this dance represent the concept and that's why it's more elegant and you just feel goosebumps and said "beautiful"
It is easier to dance fast and aggressive than slow and controlled. Team B did an amazing job and displayed range and depth. I think most dancers who are classically trained will appreciate this performance!

Edit :They're actually represent one person that is a king (Yeonsangun of Joseon era) who lost his mother. They showed different lingering feelings between egos : Taeyang went out fight to death (tyrant), Juyeon drowned his grief (loneliness) and DK lost his senses (madness). They showed sadness and longing for the mother. My previous interpretation was how the dance spoke to me. This is how the dance should be. It can spoke to us indirectly even pierce our hearts with emotions.

As a former traditional dancer, I'm really proud of them. There are still youngsters who care about preserving tradition and cultural heritage. I don't stan their respective groups but I really love this stage! I'm a huge fan of historical dramas, and this stage represents the grandeur of the Korean culture

This performance was so magical like it took us back to where the dynasty was made and so epic like they use their dance to make a full statement and give stories that's what dance is in life
If you think about it, these 3 groups (ikon, sf9 and tbz), you can tell their focus is so different. I mean, this one unit, the three of them are dancers, not just because they know how to dance (technically they are just amazing) but because they are, individually, really passionate about dancing and they work hard to have their own styles. And that’s what they tried to show: a detailed choreography, actual dancing moves. This performance was in a level you can only see with professionals, in theaters. This is what a dancer would do. It was just artistically superior and it had zero unnecessary parts. I'm so much in love with this.

I think it depends on the performance. To represent this concept the three of them were perfect and for team A’s concept’s representation needs more people and energy for the perfect outcome. Both the teams gave their best. I agree. Though, I’m not a dancer, I can feel the emotions they wanted us to feel and the storyline is quite clear. In terms of vi3ws and global votes, I’m sure Team B will not win unless the whole fandoms of each group unite and other external groups will support. But, I am still hoping for the best for these 3 groups.

I'm a dancer myself and these stage is definitely show their real ability. No fancy props, No excessive or acrobatic stunt definitely enjoyable!
This is like a Contemporary Dance, and the 3 of them really portray the emotion in the dance..
They have their own spotlight and show each of their different versatilities but they still able to dance with unity as a team..

I just realized that every iKON perform the camera is messy, like if time to wide they make it zoom, if time zoom they make lights dark. It's like they have no taste in creativity, I just observe it. No hate 😅

It's One team are are not idols anymore they are artists. They expressed what they want and created an art. The rap unit didn't care about winning they just want to express. The dance unit made a performance that is memorable and gives you a lingering feeling. I want to commend them for their boldness. It's One you're the best.

Originality wasn't stated as one of the criteria though. Yes, this performance was beautiful. But this comes down to personal taste. This performance was captivating. But Mayfly's performance drew excitement. So which will the judges prefer? I do not believe this performance is inferior to Mayfly's, but I prefer Mayfly's because the spectacle, dance moves, and facial expressions made my eyes widen, whereas IT'S ONE's had me hypnotised instead.
I'm a Stay but I hope this performance will win the Dance round. The musicality, the concept, and the performance are so beautiful. Their chemistry is no joke and they're great dancers.

This is such an emotional piece and the boys did a goodass job in portraying the story through their dance and facial expressions. This doesn't have an intense choreography and doesn't have stunts, but it's powerful in itself.

But other than the stunts, it's not really something we haven't seen yet. So personally, this team brought more wow to me because they offered something new on the table.
