If you have the extra money, or have been saving up for it I think it's worth it! I've had lots of instax and a few Polaroid, but this camera has been the best so far.
@@Nanigross Actually I'll start saving money now, probably I'll need to travel to buy one, or else I'll have to pay double the price due to taxes. But I sure want this Pollaroid Camera, specially 'cause of the external sync flash
Send it to the INSTANT CAMERA GUY. He does amazing repairs. He has a TH-cam channel showing all his amazing repairs. That camera is super expensive when refurbished. You will make every penny back if you get it refurbished.
Waste of money on a shitty camera and emulsion. This is a money grab. Many years ago everyone knew the film was awful and the camera gimmicky.......it was not taken seriously by photographers at all. Today, it is being mainly bought by people and young kids wanting to reconnect with the past in some way. Nobody really uses this medium seriously at all and when a few people do, it is only after digitizing.
So, you would be the grinch. A lot of people get a lot of pleasure from shooting film and Fuji struggles to keep up with demand. You might not see the point, but others do, including various professionals, and a lot of big budget movies get shot on film because of the aesthetic that film has. In this case, I agree that Polaroid film is not very good, and Instax is much better, but the I-2 camera is the best instant film camera sold currently. It is most definitely not a crappy camera. I am retired now, but was a professional photographer for decades. I love shooting film, 35mm, medium format, 110, and Instant. I take it very seriously as a means of artistic expression. You know, outside the little box of your very narrow opinions, there are large numbers of photographers doing all sorts of things that you seem to be oblivious to. That includes shooting all kinds of film. Besides Fuji selling ridiculous amounts of Instax, Kodak spent the last three months building new film production facilities with state of the art machinery because they too have spent the last few years also struggling to keep up with demand, and were forced to invest big in new production capabilities to accommodate the increasing film sales trend.. I just wish Polaroid would make a version of the I-2 that could shoot Instax film, or Fuji or Lomography build an Instax camera with the same, or better controls over aperture and shutter as this camera has.
I got one for Christmas too.
If it had an SLR manual focus lens it would be perfect.
@@SuddenJeff I've yet to have any difficulty with the focusing! Why would SLR manual focus be better? Serious question.
Nice video, I’m thinking about buying one

What is the point in reversing the footage left bto right other than annoying viewers?

@artistjoh You shouldn't let facts, versus opinion, make you so sad. Just roll with it (pun intended). 😆
