It’s actually just a funky looking stand for the pen. The four points don’t have any special purpose other than to rest the pen on.

That all depends on how it's fastened but you probably need to remove it and fasten it directly into a stud or use a drywall anchor to give the screw a place to properly fasten. Let me know if that helps.

You can, yes. The first coat can be a bit thin so two or more coats should help. My brother in law actually used this technique just last night on his car while at my house and it helped to use a bit of 1500 grit sandpaper and some buffing compound afterward. It came out great!

It's true! I was sitting in my truck a couple of weeks ago waiting for my kids when the whole truck shook. Turns out a little kid swung her car door open and slammed it into mine. I couldn't get too mad since the poor mom was trying to wrangle 4 little kids and miraculously it didn't leave a mark on my truck (white door against black truck) but man - that's where so much of the damage happens.

If you ALREADY HAVE your touch up paint, feel free to skip the first 2 minutes of the video which shows you how to buy it.
Also, MUTING during the inset commercial is highly recommended so you can concentrate on the actual process being shown. Lots of muting on this video.
Overall, this was the most informative and exhibitive video I have found.
Could have been a 3 minute video without commercial and gotten a thumbs up.
I mean, there was an INTRO COMMERCIAL already, so you got your click money. Now we're just getting greedy.
