If you like blue shells, then look for Septifer bilocularis, a really blue little mussel. At 16:00 in malacology we use the word 'equilateral' instead of left-right symmetry.
10:52 Wow, I love the Sand Dollar, it’s so beautiful 😍, my favorite is the Sand Dollar from today’s video, so let me tell you something, I found a lot of Sand Dollars from the beach while I was in San Diego for Thanksgiving with my family, I always go for a morning walk to find more seashells while I was in San Diego last year, but this year I’ll be going to San Diego again for Thanksgiving, it’ll be so much for me to find shells at the beach, I’m so happy. Anyway I really enjoying your new shell 🐚 video tonight so exciting, I like your seashells so far during this video 🙂, and thanks again for taking us another shell adventure, we love your channel.
Love the mussels and surf clams almost as much as the moons, but not quite. I enjoyed the ecology lessons:) sea pork looked kinda like a weird brain. The purple sand is amazing, my birthstone is garnet❤
Loved the shells today!! Good to see you girls again 🤩🤩 I would have collected some of the purple and pink sand to make sand art or fill some tiny bottles with them as gifts 🥰🥰🥰
Love the purple sand color, so neat. Beautiful shells to find. Have you thought of making a calendar of the shells you find to offer to your shell fans? Such a beautiful beach there. 🐚🌊
Great video this week! I forgot to get my purple sand while I was up there! I love what you showed us in this video. It was was more of a deep burgundy! My birthstone is garnet so I need to get some of the really deep burgundy sand from you! 😊
That’s so cool the purple! We have a few beaches on the north west coast that are made from pink granite sand… nice vid… looks cold… can’t believe you’re scratching through the sand with your nails all done n that ! 😂😂
Glad to see you back, but your Mother and I are going to have to have a long discussion with you!!!! lol Where in the world were your water boots today??? Barefoot amongst all those rocks and broken shells, not to mention that cold, cold water. Wonderful treasures, no doubt, but we're going to ground you if you don't take better care of yourself! lol
Love those blue mussel shells, but that hinged one with the barnacles was amazing. Also, I am a huge fan of the beautiful purple sand. The Amber Operculum was wonderful to see. The darling little crabs sure picked the most gorgeous shells for their homes. Great video. Glad you're back.
Love the right hand nail color, so pretty. Horse mussel are that denim blue we Americans are known for. Are you able to pick the plums to eat or make jelly from?
Adding a PS - is it me or did you start the video with rosey mauve nail polish and then magically it was back to your signature turquoise (and black)? I know....totally random😊
Girl....the black nails with the blue tops! Super cute!
Oh how I wish I was on plum island beach❤❤❤ thank you for virtually taking us there 🐚
Love it Jaime! Thanks for sharing. Thanks Kim!

You are very brave for picking up things. If there's not a shell around it I'm a gonna pass😊

The shells on the East Coast are so much bigger then the West Coast. It is very interesting.

Yes! I was waiting to see if anyone caught that! Lol. I filmed it over a 2 day weekend and there was a polish change. Hahaha.
@@PlumIslandSeaCabin 😂😅👍💙💙💙💙
Does the sand change color when it dries out?
Is it eatable??
