You are right about the weight and performance of this wheel but they need to test the reliability of the parts specially the suspension. Hope they change it to a better one.
@@eucupgrades Indeed. I am a heavy rider too so I have some doubts about the durability, especially since the Sherman S has different suspension choices based on weight while the Commander Pro only has one option.
Wheels designed with proprietary suspension will have a competitive disadvantage when all other factors are equal. This means that those designs that have a replaceable suspension with aftermarket options have an advantage over the in-house compromise shocks. Failures like this can destroy sales momentum and volume. Let's hope for a speedy recovery.
You start by saying it is new out of the box then later say it already has mud on the beeper and the tire sure looks like it has been off road so I'm assuming it has been used. As a normal weight rider considering this for just road use I am curious if this is indeed a factory fault or whether a heavy weight rider was trying to see if he could bottom it out and blew the seals and then left it on its side so the oil leaked into the top.
@@eucupgrades I'm not sure whether I can get a wheel with warranty here, so availability of replacement parts matters, that's why I'm asking. Also, my question is not only about the price but also about whether Begode/ ExtremeBull are responsible when it comes to replacement parts, about how easy is to find a replacement should I need something. Sherman S is, on contrary, is going to be popular and LeaperKim seems will be providing a plenty of replacement parts for quite a long time, whereas I'm not that sure for ExtremeBull, what do you think?
I've been asking.......so WHO'S gonna choose a Begode wheel (Extreme Bull) over a Sherman-S? I love the idea of power, but I want some quality n longevity in my wheel for my $4000. I don't TRUST Begode/Extreme bull. They don't care what they're pushing out to us. Their QC is horrible. And they need to stop with all the cheap ass parts.
There’s a very good reason why the engineers left Gotway to form Leaperkim; I bet the Gotway/Begode boys wished they’d been more receptive to their ideas and suggestions now! 😂😂
Thanks for the review Kevin. I like the Commander Pro's weight and form factor, but so much of this wheel needs big improvements.

Excellent breakdown Kevin and great observations. It would be a great idea too make your own gaskets for this wheel.
Glad to see it's not just Sherman having issues. More likely that a fix will happen
Thanks for the insight Kevin
We can pay them but they just deliver it like that because some of us rider only care later when we been proven our instinct was correct about quality
Awesome 😎 thanks Kevin!!🙏

Sherman S for the win! 🏆
Can you ride the wheel in light rain or are there too many water ingress points?
How much does it cost to order a suspension replacement?
In is case it was under warranty.

Not even considering for our area. Needs waterproofing
Some of the stainless steel are attracted by magnets

X-Men is the only good wheel coming from Extreme bull
Is this a Begode?
No, it's a Gotway wheel...................😬😎
Extreme Begotway
Call me crazy. But I draw the line at masking tape in my $3k wheel.
