It looks absolutely incredible! It's so hard to put a price/worth on something - everyone has such different opinions on what they feel is a good value! But for me, if the experience is something you're super into and it makes you happy and you get a ton out of it, then that's what makes it worth it for you. Plus, this is Disney...it's not exactly inexpensive...but such a cool, totally immersive experience!
Props to you all for making this the most cohesive storyline and your video felt the least chaotic of many of the videos I've seen on the Starcruiser! I get overwhelmed by all of the go go go and fast pace that a lot of the videos have. I'm sure in the moment it's riveting but it's easy as a viewer to lose the plot and not understand the bigger picture. I usually have to leave Starcruiser videos partially watched because the chaos is too much but you all did a fantastic job of explaining the storyline and still conveying the energy of the moment!

Imagine paying 5000 dollars for one night, litteraly money down the drain regardless of the expierence. You shouldn't be giving Disney this kind of money for such a little return.
It isn't $5000 for one night. It was $5000 for 3 people to stay 3 days, 2 nights. Still expensive, but not nearly as bad as you're making it out to be.

Wow. Firstly, huge thank you to Steven, Jess and Hunter for filming, editing and sharing this whole experience with us. I could not stop smiling throughout this entire video. As a Star Wars fan, this honestly looks so surreal. I'm still dreaming of going to Galaxy's Edge one day but this blew my mind. My partner isn't really into Star Wars however so I would probably never stay here but this is probably as close as I'll get to it. Incredible video guys and keep up the good work!

@@Keffin1 It is AMAZING! I went in September 2019, just before COVID, and it was the perfect time. Went through a travel agency to get discounts on a 5-night stay to go to both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade however many times we wanted each day. Definitely go to both parks, the Express is an attraction in itself! I got my Hufflepuff robes and my sister got her own private wand choosing ceremony (they noticed she was blind, so did that for us after the main one), which was sooo cool! We rode the Gringotts ride 11 times, the Hogwarts ride 7 times, and the Buckbeak ride once. Hagrid's new ride was down when we wanted to ride it. The shops and the food are so good! The attention to detail is mind-blowing; there's so many Easter Eggs around the parks.
What an overpriced ripoff. Charging $1,200 per person per night or $6,000 per family for two-nights. Even when they comped influencers to promote the hotel it still flopped. I laugh my ass off now that they're closing for good on Sept. 30th. 😆

You paid 5000$ to stay in a windowless room and travel on a refurbished box truck to come in the back entrance of the park where they do the maintenance basically. Disney is the master at Catfishing.
OMG thus vlog is absolutely unbelievable!! As a lifelong Star Wars fan (I am 51), this is my dream come true. My 5 year old son is also a budding fan as well. Wow! We went to the Star Wars Convention (called Star Wars Celebration) back in May and the Star Wars Hotel had an exhibit there. I am Heading to Universal Orlando and DisneyWorld in 10 days. Been there several times but it never gets old. Last year we Stayed at DisneyWorld in October to celebrate my 50th birthday during my daughter's favorite time of the year...Halloween. DisneyWorld and I were born in the same year!!! This year we are staying at Universal. Very excited for the Wizarding World, some Jurassic World, some Star Wars, some Christmas fun at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center. Though some day, I definitely have to go on the Galactic Starcruiser! 😁

I've never been into Star Wars. Have watched every movie just so I'll understand some of what's going on, but I never became a diehard fan. We even skipped Hollywood Studios this past year because we had seen the rest of the park a million times, and really didn't have enough interest to give up a day at one of the other parks to go there. Your video has DEFINITELY changed my perspective! I am so intrigued by what I just watched. I can't get over how big that place is. I also have to say that Hunter made the video even more enjoyable. She is an absolute doll. You must have done a good job so far because she is one of the best behaved 2 year olds I've ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing this video. As a hardcore Disney fan I suggest that they need to increase the rates for this wonderful experience, it's still cheap and the fees are not not updated according to latest inflation. No matter how much Disney increase the fee , true fans always come (maybe they need to refinance their homes or sleep on the streets / under the bridges after the trip but still true fans will come no matter what.

haha i LOVED this so much! biggest kid ever! There was so many moments where i jsut smiled...like little kids sneaking into the engineering room (where you werent meant to go by the story) and the cast members saying "why are you here?" and they were just squirming it was so fun just seeing the kids in absolute belief
They tried to hype this up and I appreciate the production but it feels kinda phony and the echoing in the sound made it feel like a slizzed up warehouse. I could stay in a suite in at the cosmopolitan in Vegas, fine dining for every single meal and VIP to whatever attraction for a weekend. I don’t wish anything bad because employees lost their jobs but Disney knew this was a horrible idea with it being way overpriced with not nearly enough interaction.

A highly packed environment, a tightly scheduled and pun intended FORCED experience with little to no privacy or relaxation time is hardly worth $6000. Do they even let people go back to their prison cell-sized rooms to take a nap on those uncomfortably pod-sized, rock hard looking beds?
The original concepts and designs for this hotel were pretty incredible, it stinks that it seems like the imagineers were not given the time and funding necessary to really realize the original vision

I'm glad you guys had a fun time, but honestly would rather pay to go to Star Wars area in park. It's waaay too pricy for what you do there. Probably why it's closing.
This whole thing looks bonkers and I love it. It's your food, accommodation, and activities all rolled into one and I would LOVE to do it. Also, thank you for sharing your sweet Hunter's reaction to everything. Seeing the world through the eyes of your kids is one of the best things ever.

Looks like so much fun! I so want to do that some day. Hunter is so lucky to have you two as parents. I Love your interactions with Hunter. She seemed to have sooo much fun! I am Heading to Universal Orlando and DisneyWorld in 10 days. Been there several times but it never gets old. Last year we Stayed at DisneyWorld in October to celebrate my 50th birthday during my daughter's favorite time of the year...Halloween. DisneyWorld and I were born in the same year!!! This year we are staying at Universal. Very excited for the Wizarding World, some Jurassic World, some Star Wars, some Christmas fun at the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center. Though some day, I definitely have to go on the Galactic Starcruiser! 😁

I've never been into Star Wars. Have watched every movie just so I'll understand some of what's going on, but I never became a diehard fan. We even skipped Hollywood Studios this past year because we had seen the rest of the park a million times, and really didn't have enough interest to give up a day at one of the other parks to go there. Your video has DEFINITELY changed my perspective! I am so intrigued by what I just watched. I can't get over how big that place is. I also have to say that Hunter made the video even more enjoyable. She is an absolute doll. You must have done a good job so far because she is one of the best behaved 2 year olds I've ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing this video. As a hardcore Disney fan I suggest that they need to increase the rates for this wonderful experience,
it's still cheap and the fees are not not updated
according to latest inflation. No matter how much Disney increase the fee , true fans always come (maybe they need to refinance their homes or sleep on the streets / under the bridges after the trip but still true fans will come no matter what.

haha i LOVED this so much! biggest kid ever! There was so many moments where i jsut smiled...like little kids sneaking into the engineering room (where you werent meant to go by the story) and the cast members saying "why are you here?" and they were just squirming it was so fun just seeing the kids in absolute belief
They tried to hype this up and I appreciate the production but it feels kinda phony and the echoing in the sound made it feel like a slizzed up warehouse.
I could stay in a suite in at the cosmopolitan in Vegas, fine dining for every single meal and VIP to whatever attraction for a weekend. I don’t wish anything bad because employees lost their jobs but Disney knew this was a horrible idea with it being way overpriced with not nearly enough interaction.

Good RIDDANCE I am SO GLAD this abomination of a Star Wars "experience" is being shut down and retconned. I wouldn't have paid $60 for that cringefest. A highly packed environment, a tightly scheduled and pun intended FORCED experience with little to no privacy or relaxation time is hardly worth $6000. Do they even let people go back to their prison cell-sized rooms to take a nap on those uncomfortably pod-sized, rock hard looking beds?

The original concepts and designs for this hotel were pretty incredible, it stinks that it seems like the imagineers were not given the time and funding necessary to really realize the original vision

agreed! the cast need a payrise they were INCREDIBLE - Raith was amazing - remembered us by name...had some banter with him he constantly told me off for filming secret missions haha! it was amazing - 5 and a half hours of footage down to 40min so much on the cutting room floore
You can’t make rooms less expensive while increasing indirect costs as well… no wonder these margins tanked
